loud noise filled the entire classroom. students laughing, talking, gossiping, and giggling. all of them are conversing to one another. except for me— the main protagonist of this story, i suppose.
i was sitting awkwardly at my seat. just being annoyed by my fellow students being loud. school is for studying for god's sake. not for small-talks. gahh, so annoying!
suddenly, i saw someone approaching me. i just mentally rolled my eyes.
'great... another one of those shitty people who always ask me questions.' i said to myself.
"hey, yuki... how do you solve this problem again?" the annoying bitch asked.
'figure it out yourself. i ain't the fkin teacher. i'm a student, idiot.' i inwardly intoned. no way in hell would i actually say this. i just pretend to be nice so they won't bug me... which fails miserably.
"oh... that part. uh well..." i took a look at the problem.
'is this bitch that stupid? this is literally the most easiest to solve out of all the questions.' i thought to myself after i looked at the problem.
"sorry... i don't actually know how to solve that one" i said, putting on a fake smile.
honestly, i do know how to solve that, i just don't really want to explain. like, can't she just ask the teacher to explain it to her?
"oh, okay. thanks, anyway." she says, then walked away.
i just sighed and continued minding my own business. i got bored so i took out my phone inside my bag and opened it. i decided to read something to ease my boredom. 'why won't i talk to my classmates' you say? cuz i'm bad at conversing with other people.or i just find their presence annoying or i just really like to be alone, that's all.
a few minutes passed and the teacher walked in. ready to teach us. well, not like i listen to her. i just take down notes that they wrote on the board then i understand it. i mean, i'm not that smart, just average. let's go back to the teacher, shall we? even though i can't understand a single thing that she says other than.
"blah blah blah this. blah blah blah that." she says.
------>>>> [(a/n): this means fast forward btw]
i was walking down towards my house. class ended earlier than usual cuz of some sorta teachers meeting, shit like that. well it works for me. i get to go home early after all and just chill at my house (except for my mom nagging me and always sending me out on errands.) i was happily walking when i found a cat. it has a ribbon on its neck so it has an owner. but who tf cares? i'll pet it either way. i approached the cat and it just stared at me. it didn't got scared or ran away. it just stared at me.
"hey there, little cat~ (a/n: can be translated as "meow meow meow mawww")
the cat responded with a little meow. i squealed in excitement. thankfully, no one was around. if there was someone around, they would think that i'm crazy and i would die in embarrassment. i went even more closer towards the cat and pet it. its soft, fluffy fur brought comfort towards my hands. i grinned like an idiot. so what if i grin cuz of a cat?
as i was happily petting the cat. i noticed a shadow gradually peeking behind me. i was flabbergasted. i slowly turned behind me to see who that person was while praying that it wasn't anyone that i know.
' shit, shit, shit. please don't be my classmates or anyone i know.' i inwardly prayed.
i guess i jinxed it cuz when i turned around, i saw akio— a classmate/ neighbor of mine. i screamed internally, though my face didn't change expression. just the same expressionless one.
"oh, yuki. whatcha doin' here?" he asked.
'what do you think, idiot?'
"o-oh, i just... y'know, found a cat and uhh... decided to...
"you mean you wanna pet neko?" he asked
oh, so the cat has a name. wait, why does he know the cat's name?
"you know him?" i asked back
"yeah, i own him. or my family own him rather." he answered.
seriously!? of all the stray cat i could find, it has to be owned by someone i know?!
"oh, that's good then. guess he found his owner."
oh, god. please don't tell me that he found me all grinning while i was petting this cat. if he did then i just wished that the ground would eat me whole.
oh, don't worry. i won't tell anyone about what i saw." he says out of the blue.
shiiiittt! he did see. i was practically an embarrassed mess in front of akio.
"huh? whatcha talking about?" i asked, trying to play dumb.
"oh, you know. the part where you got all giddy and meowy when petting the cat. you almost look like a cat yourself."
i just covered my face out of embarrassment. he saw that. he actually fking saw that. i hear him giggling lightly. i just glared at him throughy covered face.
"you know... this is actually my first time talking to you. considering we're neighbors and classmate and all."
now that i think about it, he's right. we never really talked to each other. i wasn't really much of a social butterfly since i was a kid so i didn't really go out to play with my neighbors nor do i talk to them. actually, this is

I woke up to the sound of people yelling at each other and the light of the sun brimming through my eyes. I just sighed in frustration. Suddenly, my door bursted open and there stood my younger sister— Akane, a naturally sweet and cheerful girl. But now she was crying.
"Brother... they're... they're fighting again." she stated while crying.
I hugged her and patted her head to try and calm her down.
"It's okay, it's okay. I'm sure they'll quiet down soon. So let's just get ready to go to school today, kay?."
She just quietly nodded and wiped her tears away. We both went downstairs to see my mom and dad arguing. This was the most normal scene for me to see every morning— my mom and dad fighting over my dad being home late and drunk. Waking us up by screaming at each other and sometimes my dad would punch our mom. I was used to it but my little sister isn't. I grew up seeing this scene every morning. However, my little sister wasn't. My parents don't usually argue in front of her when she was little. But now that she's older, they just never cared about what she would feel when they fight.
Our parents didn't even notice us coming down the stairs. Heck, they didn't bat an eye. We just passed through them with a sigh and headed to the kitchen to cook breakfast. After cooking breakfast, I went to get ready to go to school. My sister did the same.
After we got ready, we both went out and headed to our school. It was a boring walk for me. I was still thinking about my sister after all. My head was above the clouds and I didn't even notice when someone walked in front of me, causing me to bump hardly at them and fell down.
"Oh, sorry. Are you okay?" that person asked. His voice sounding familiar.
"I'm fine..." I looked up and saw a person that I was hoping to not see again— it was Akio. He looked so... ungenuinely surprised.
"Oh, Yuki! Didn't expect to see you here." he stated.
I inwardly groaned. Why do I have to see him so early in the morning. It's not like I hate him or anything. I genuinely just don't like him cuz he's yappy and too... cheerful. A whole 180° from my personality.
"We're neighbors. Of course you'd see me around." I replied bluntly.
He just chuckled from my statement. Ugh, so annoying.
"Right... we're neighbors. Hey, wanna walk to school with me?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement. I don't know why he's so excited though. It's just a walk to school.
"Uhh, thanks for the offer but I'd rather—" I couldn't even finished what I was saying because he pulled my arm and dragged me while he ran towards the school.
"Let's go then!" he excitingly exclaimed.
"Hey, wait. Slow down will ya?" I begged while trying to catch up to him.

We finally reached our class after running for about I dunno how many mins. I have low stamina, okay? So I tend to get tired easily. I stood at the door of our class, panting, catching my breath and whatever words that describe as tired.
"Oh, fuck. The day just started and I'm already tired." I mumbled while panting. I then heard a light chuckle.
"Jeez, you tire that easily? We didn't even run that far." he asked in a ridiculing manner.
I inwardly cursed at him. This guy was getting all smug about having more stamina than me. "I'm just not used to running, that's all." I replied, trying my best to just not straight-out punch him in the face.
"Ehh? Really? I thought you were the athletic type."
Really? Me, an athletic person? I can't even run just 1km and I can't even dodge a single ball in dodgeball. And look at my build. I'm like literally the frailest man there is. I don't even have a muscle. Plus I totally look like a shut-in, which I am.
"Oh, please. I'm totally not the athletic type." I stated.
I opened the door to our class and went inside. Akio followed me. He was about to say something when his friends interrupted him.
"Akio, g'mornin!" Wataru exclaimed.
"Yo, Akio. Morning." Rin greeted in a nonchalant manner.
'Yes, he's distracted!' I celebrated in my mind. I immediately went to my seat and sat down. I let out a sigh of relief. Finally, I can recharge my social bat. I'm not really the communicative type of person so my social battery gets low easily. Especially when someone talks to me so early in the morning and when I'm in a bad mood at that.
I put on my headsets as I buried my face at my desk. Man, was I exhausted. I looked at my right and saw Akio and his friends talking. Suddenly, our eyes met causing me to avert my gaze. He didn't look away and continued staring at me. Oh, gosh. What if he thinks that I'm some sort of freak for staring at him? I don't want that. The door bursted open and there stod our homeroom teacher.
"Class, go back to your seats. Class is starting." the teacher ordered.
Everyone went back to their proper seats and the teacher started his lesson. As usual, I didn't listen to his yapping about history or whatsoever. I just looked outside the window in a daze, waiting for the class to end.
episode 3
The bell rang indicating that it was already lunch time. I yawned and packed my stuff to get ready to leave. I was gonna go eat lunch at the garden. Not many students go there so it was peaceful. As I got up to leave, Akio called me:
"Yo, Yuki. Where ya goin'?" he asked curiously.
"Just... someplace else." I replied.
"Oh? You're not gonna eat lunch?"
"I'll eat someplace else."
He looked away, as if he was thinking. After a while, his gaze shifted back to me.
"Well, wanna eat with me—er, I mean us?" he asked, pointing towards his friends who were sitting and waiting for him at his desk.
"Uhh, thanks but I'm fine on my own." I replied. I took a step back, wanting to leave from this situation. It was the first time someone invited me to eat with them, so I don't really know what to do.
"Jeez, c'mon, eat with us." He pulled my hand. His grip on my wrist was tight but not to the extent of hurting me, just enough so I can't let go.
I didn't have any choice and reluctantly followed him towards seat. Once we reached there, his friends looked at me with confusion and an expression that says "What's he doing here?". I wanted to leave but I couldn't. This guy was totally not gonna let go of me.
One of his friends spoke up, "Oh, I see you brought a guest with you." Rin sarcastically commented.p
"Stop being too formal, man. You're creeping me out." Akio said with a weird expression.
"That's because it's a first that you brought someone unfamiliar with you here." Wataru stated, staring intently at me.
"Whaddya mean by 'unfamiliar'? He's literally our classmate."
"Jeez, let's just talk about this later. I'm hungry." Rin cut off the two from bickering.
"Yeah, he's right." Wataru agreed.
"You're really easy to agree when it comes to food, huh?" Akio stated.
Akio sat down and patted the seat next to him, indicating me to sit down next to him. I reluctantly sat down. He then eventually let go of my hand. I can still feel his friends staring daggers at me. Well, makes sense since I never really talked to them and we aren't really close so when they're friend just brought me here outta the blue, they would surely not have good reaction of that.
"So... Yuki, right? You friends with Akio or something?" Rin asked while giving a look that made me feel that I was being investigated.
"Uh... well... we're, umm..." Am I supposed to say that we are? I mean, we barely talked and I don't really like this guy. We're just neighbors and it's not like we're close either.
"Yes, we're friends!" Akio confidently answered the question for me.
"I wasn't asking you, y'know?" Rin just rolled his eyes at him.
"Hey, you were asking him about me so I'm totally allowed to answer that." Akio stated with a pout.
"Come on now, don't fight. We're still gonna ask this guy some questions." Wataru said, almost tauntingly.
I wanna get outta here so badly. I just whined and cursed Akio in my mind.
"Hey, c'mon, stop interrogating Yuki."
The two of them ignored Akio's warning and just continued to ask some questions.
"So... how long have you two been friends?" Wataru asked.
' We seriously aren't friends though. I don't even like this guy or find him a little bit interesting!' I screamed in my mind.
"Just yesterday." Akio bluntly replied.
The two of them looked at him, dumbfounded. Both of their expressions totally shifted from curiosity to pure disbelief.
"Are you serious? You just became friends yesterday and you invited him to be with us." Wataru said, pouting.
"Jeez, don't be jealous, man. I ain't gonna abandon you both."
"W-who's jealous ha?!" Wataru angrily exclaimed. Both Akio and Rin just snickered at Wataru's childlike behavior which pisses Wataru even more.
I was slightly annoyed and amused by their actions. Dammit, I wanna leave this place so badly. I couldn't even eat because I didn't bring my lunch with me. And Akio didn't even offer me food. So I just sat there, hungry and annoyed, just staring at them with a dumbfounded expression.
Their bickering lasted for a few minutes and then finally, Akio noticed me just being quiet which I usually am. Suddenly, without any fkin warning, my stomach growled. Which caused Akio, Wataru, and Rin to stare at me in shock.
'F*******ckkkk' I swore in my mind. I quickly looked away to hide my embarrassed face. Shit! That was totally uncool of me. The three of them just stared at me then stared at each other. I heard a loud "pfft" before they all burst outta laughter.
"Man, that was hilarious. Were you so hungry, hmm? You should've said something." Akio laughed hysterically.
I just shot him a glare and mumbled, loud enough for him to hear, "And who's fault is that?"
"That's pretty rude of you, Akio. You invited him to eat with us but you didn't even offer him food." Rin stated, still laughing.
The three of them continued to laugh like hyenas for a few minutes and it eventually died out. They all wiped out tears that were coming out of theur eyes because of laughing too muc
