Chike’s eyes were massive and unblinking in his dimly lit room. Chill ran down his spine and he felt cold in his body. Lost in thought, he uttered nothing. He could barely feel his body, as if the world might open and swallow him. The hunky naked figure lay flat on the floor, his body covered in a pool of cold blood.
He slowly moved close to the body, the armchair creaking, breaking the quietness in the room as he dragged it along with him. He sat close enough scanning the figure worshipping his body. A smirk lingered on his face, he was the very person who earlier trembled in fear.
He let out his arm to feel the chilled body but they ended up hanging in the mild air. He contemplated whether to touch him or not; what if the police got his DNA? “But the police wouldn't know,” he let out a sinister chuckle that never escaped the room. He withdrew his arm but couldn't resist the handsome stud. He gave him a gentle touch, caressing his back down to his nyash.
In a second, he was already on his knees, tousling the figure's hair, “it's all your fault,” he whispered into his ear, and he went on kissing him uncontrollably. When he stopped, he stared at him pitifully, “You should have minded your fucking business…” he looked at him from head to toe, “What a waste of handsome like you,” he scoffed.
His gaze was focused on his nyash, smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He touched himself gently as blood filled his kanda while his right hand was focused on the nyash of the figure with practised ease. He jumped upon the body pulling both his boxers and the figure’s.
Chike felt the warmness inside as he thrust deeper, unlike the cold, freezing skin. He enjoyed every moment of his time with him more, even as he was in a faraway land, but it was best when he was half dead and alive. He moaned loudly and lay on the corpse to catch his breath.
Earlier that day.
The doorbell chimes, alerting Chike of his visitor; he had anticipated his arrival. Tonight would be the best experience in his life. The gates creaked as he pulled it open; a great smile was on the face of who stood before him; he was more than what he expected. “Taiwo?” He asked just for confirmation for security purposes.
Taiwo chuckled, bringing his arm for a handshake, “you stay here alone?” He glanced in every direction as if he was running from someone.
Chike took a deep breath and nodded, “Actually, yeah, for now. Forgive me, come in.” He breathed, shoving his hands into his pockets, “Let me show you around.”
Taiwo shrugged, winking his brow, “sure,” he bubbled. Chike gave him a tour, both were now seated in the dining room. They were getting along — covering different topics. Food was ready and Chike had dished out for himself and his guest. Just as they were about to savour their meal, three young men barged in; one was short and black-skinned, and the other two were skinny and average height.
Shiver ran down Chike's spine, but Taiwo wasn't surprised as he kept savouring his delicacy grinning. He burst out laughing uncontrollably as he could not take it anymore, “Chilax nigga man. We mean no harm. Na your cooperation we want.”
Chike immediately realised what was at play, “oh, I see,” he nodded, pushing his plate of food away from himself, “there's plenty…help yourselves.” He pointed at the rotating serving belt.
One of them shouted, “Oboy, you dey enjoy ajeh.” Moving to settle down close to his friend. Taiwo couldn't help himself but smiled as his partner in crime began to whine at him. Laughter filled the diner and Chike played along.
“Omo, make we begin work,” one of the average guys sounded, his voice deep and rude.
Taiwo fired at him but ended up belittling Chike, “You don't talk to our host…boy girl like that.” All the four pals burst out laughing hard. Taiwo called for silence, he was in charge, “Listen, we know who you're-”
The short annoying brat interrupted him, “Homo,” he spat furrowing his brow in disgust. They all chuckle except for the other average person who scoffs; he hardly talks.
Taiwo cleared his throat and brought out his phone and showed Chike a video recording of him and an unknown person having a moment, “You seemed surprised as I'm. Right? Well, you don't need to be because we have got a deal for you; just pay us our monthly dues, and your secret is safe with us.”
“Chikina,” the short one boomed.
Chike let out a cackling laugh, “You've played your game so well… but I'm going to beat y'all at your own game.” By then, they were beginning to feel weary; he smirked, “Don't worry, everything is gonna be okay.” His creepy laugh filled the diner as Taiwo and his gang passed out.
“Welcome back from slumber,” Chike said, a piercing tone that seemed to reverberate through Taiwo’s mind. He was left feeling groggy and confused, “You seemed surprised as I'm. Right?” He mocked him.
Taiwo was fully awake. He tried to rub his fingers on his eye scrub, but it came to his notice his hands couldn't move, neither his legs. His mouth was sealed with sellotape; he struggled for some time. “Shh-shh-shh, don't w-o-r-r-y, everything is gonna be all right,” he sang to him in a bit high-pitched mild tone. A creepy grin broadened his chin.
Taiwo continued to protest, battling with himself on top of Chike's family-sized bed, “You might wonder how you ended up like this — naked in my bed. Maybe something stupid must have happened, maybe not, and I assure you it didn't happen, but it is yet to happen.” Chike breathed as he stared heavily at his sleeping Kanda. It was then Taiwo realised his shame was exposed.
“I will unseal you but on one condition, if you keep calm. I like my toys when they're submissive, or do you want to upset Daddy?” He bubbles.
Once the tape was unsealed from his mouth, he spat on Chike's face, “You homos are psychopaths and I'm going to kill you.”
Chike's sinister laugh chilled the room, “Yes I'm a psychopath thanks to you… when you go about torturing people, threatening them with blackmail, beating them up, extorting money from them, bla bla bla… kitoing people of my kind, do you also call yourself a psycho?” His voice was softened and a drip of water flowed through his cheek, “no but here I am reciprocating and I've become a maniac,” he whispers to Taiwo's ear, “every day is for the thief but… one day is for the…”
Taiwo shook his head in disbelief at what he brought upon him, “where are my friends?” he mumbled, swallowing hard as he tried to catch his breath.
Chike clicks his tongue as he shakes his head, “They're resting in pieces, but…” He said in a cold sinister voice. Taiwo panicked, his body trembling and heavy as if bricks collapsed on his body. “... Don't worry, Daddy cherishes you, and we are gonna have a great moment just like we thought before this… happened.”
Taiwo screamed in fear, “Jesus, who the fuck are you?” his heart began to beat at a faster pace.
Chike gave an eerie giggle, “you will find out soon enough,” he sneered and walked out of the room. At the door, he turned, “Your food will be ready in no time. You'll not like to go to work without eating.” He shut the door behind him.
Taiwo's mind raced, how did this happen? “My own game cut me down,” he murmured. He screamed uncontrollably for help; he peered from here and there to see any vulnerability, hoping not to die like his friends. There was nothing in the room which he could use to help himself out. His phone came to his mind but it was nowhere to be found.
Chike pushed the door open, a smile brimming on his face, “you have screamed a lot,” he dropped the tray gently on the side table, “it's of no use cause no one is coming to your rescue.” he said mildly as he set the table. Thoughtfully he turned to Taiwo, “You know, this building is soundproofed. It's a waste of energy when you scream and daddy doesn't like it when you scream.”
Taiwo was irritated by Chike's action, “why are you doing this to me…” he stammered, “Please forgive me for my wrong… it was just a joke.”
“Jokes taken too far? Huh?... I call that an expensive joke and shouldn't even be imagined not to talk of acting on it.” Chike thundered, realising his voice was raised; he took a deep breath, calming his inner self down.
“It's time to eat,” he informed Taiwo in a relaxed tone, “please behave.”
Taiwo nodded in disbelief wondering if this was ever real or just a nightmare, “I'm not eating your food.” he scoffed.
Chike shushed him; at the first attempt, Taiwo refused, but with force, he did the needful. He was fed jollof rice and beans, a banana fruit and yoghurt and water to digest. After two minutes, Chike went back to the room to work on Taiwo.
He cat-walked and was over the moon. When he got closer to the bed, “Don't worry, I'll take it easy with you…” he paused, biting his right index finger. Taiwo keeps struggling, fighting to free himself from the maniac, but there's no way he is going to be freed. “You know what? I'm going to tell you a story.” he giggled but Taiwo sneered at him as he was boiling inside.
“Once upon a time, there was this loner who minded his business and tried to survive in a world that rejected him for being true to himself; he craves to love, beyond the known, for hearts are hearts, though flesh be shown. But those who did not understand went on to make a law against him, against its law to blackmail and extort money from this loner but fate be it because the loner was smart enough, he used his enemy plan against them and here we are…well, the story is left to be told other times… maybe when we meet in hell.” he gave a burst of cackling laughter as he finishes his story, “ouch! Who is now the loser?”
