The kitchen smelled like burnt sugar and poor decisions.
Taehyung stood by the stove, holding a pan that had clearly seen better days. Jungkook leaned against the counter with a bowl of cereal, bare-chested, tattoos on display, and hair still messy from sleep.
“You tried to make pancakes without reading the instructions again, didn’t you?” Jungkook said, mouth half-full of Lucky Charms.
Taehyung gave the blackened blob on his spatula a look of betrayal. “I followed my heart.”
“Well, your heart sucks at cooking,” Jungkook said, taking another loud bite.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes, abandoning the pan entirely and walking up to Jungkook. “Why are you even awake this early?”
Jungkook glanced at the clock. “It’s noon.”
“Exactly,” Taehyung muttered, grabbing Jungkook’s cereal bowl and taking a bite. “Mmm. Marshmallows.”
“Those were mine,” Jungkook said, though he didn’t try to take them back.
Taehyung just smirked, spoon still in his mouth. “Let’s play.”
Jungkook arched a brow. “Play what?”
“Kitchen Edition: Truth or Dare.”
Jungkook scoffed. “That’s not a real edition.”
“It is now,” Taehyung said, licking a bit of milk from his bottom lip. “You first.”
Jungkook set the cereal aside, eyes glinting. “Dare. Obviously.”
Taehyung looked around. Then grinned. “Lick whipped cream off my neck.”
Jungkook blinked. “What whipped—”
Taehyung grabbed the can from the fridge and sprayed a thick stripe across his collarbone. He tilted his head dramatically. “Dessert’s ready.”
Jungkook stepped forward without hesitation, hands slipping around Taehyung’s waist. “You’re dangerous in the morning.”
“It’s noon,” Taehyung whispered as Jungkook dipped down.
One slow, deliberate lick later, Taehyung was shivering, his hand gripping the edge of the counter.
“Your turn,” Jungkook murmured against his skin.
“Sex,” Taehyung replied too quickly.
Jungkook smirked. “That wasn’t even the question yet.”
“I’m being efficient.”
“Fine,” Jungkook said, brushing his lips against Taehyung’s ear. “Tell me your dirtiest kitchen fantasy.”
Taehyung didn’t hesitate. “You, on your knees, nothing but an apron.”
Jungkook laughed. “Noted.”
“Your turn,” Taehyung said, voice low.
Jungkook stepped back, licking whipped cream off his thumb. “Dare.”
Taehyung's grin turned wicked. “Do the apron thing. Right now.”
Jungkook raised a brow. “I knew that was coming.”
“I’d rather you come,” Taehyung said sweetly.
Jungkook rolled his eyes but turned and started undoing his sweatpants. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you love it,” Taehyung called, hopping up onto the counter.
Jungkook faced him again—shirtless, pants gone, apron tied neatly around his waist.
Taehyung stared, clearly impressed. “God, I’m gonna marry you.”
Jungkook leaned in, placing both hands on either side of Taehyung’s hips. “truth or Dare?”
Taehyung bit his lip. “Surprise me.”
Jungkook grinned. “Gladly.”
