The carpet at the place she was standing at quickly turned black as the needle that flew towards her stabbed into it.
Due to the commotion it was unnoticed when someone came and pushed the empress's head on the wall with force, and she fainted.
The Empress Dowager stood up hurriedly "Someone come and arrest this woman, she dares to harm the moon of our empire".
" MOTHER!!!" the emperor looked at her in astonishment.
The guards came and captured Vyara. She couldn't use her powers in front of others.
The Royal physician came and said to him hurriedly "Your Majesty, someone has poisoned the empress."
The emperor got distracted and left with him.
The empress dowager smirked to herself "Let's go"
She went to the cell in which I was locked.
My hands were tied to a chain attached to the ceiling and my body was hanging in the air.
"Looks like they are treating you well in here. Do you know why you are here?"
I remained silent.
"It's because I need to teach some people a lesson as they are forgetting who they are."
"You can't touch them, so you plan on hurting me. I didn't know you were such a coward Your Highness The Empress Dowager" I said to her sarcastically.
"You......" her gentle expression morphed into a hideous one as she picked up a whip.
"Let's see how long you can remain arrogant" she started whipping me.

I didn't utter a word as she continued with her torture.
I was covered in whip marks and blood was flowing down from my body forming a pool at my feet. Not a place on my body was left intact.
"You Wretch!!"
"I know you won't break like this, so I especially brought something for you."
She picked up a long needle that was shining with an eerie light.
"Do you know what this is? It's called soul lock. It's used for dealing with half human creatures like you. Once you are stabbed with it, it will make the dragon blood in your body boil. Your body will start burning like a furnace from inside."
She continued "Oh there is a way to solve it, want to know? Well you will have to give yourself away to a man." she looked at me menacingly then went away.
"Ugh.... Hot.... So hot....."
"Huff Huff Huff" my breathing quickened.
I was able to hear my heart beats in my ears.
Suddenly someone came inside my cell "Look at that figure bro and her skin is so white."
Two men were coming towards me while three more of them were standing behind them.
They untied my hand and I fell on the ground with a thud.
As soon as one of them was going to touch my hand, I punched him and he went flying then crashed into the wall and died. My eyes turning red as scales started to appear on my hands.
They looked at me in horror.
"Mons... Monster"
I tilted my head and looked them without any expression "What were you going to do to me? Hm?"
"No... No...Nothing...." they scrambled as they backed away.
In a flash I appeared beside them then snapped their necks off quickly, killing them.
This continued for a few days as more corpses started gathering inside the cell.
The power of the soul lock was increasing as I was using my dragon powers.
"My Lady" I looked up to hear someone's voice.
"Natalie" I whispered my voice very weak and barely audible.
"My lady, the empress dowager has kept the emperor under house arrest. His chambers have been surrounded by shadow guards and her Majesty is still unconscious."
I frowned as I listened to her.
"My lady you must hang on. I will bring Master Kairos. He can definitely help you."
Before I could stop her she ran away from there.
(Two days later at the war camp)
"Master we found her near the entrance of our barracks" a soldier came while supporting Natalie.
"Master Kairos" she came and knelt in front of him.
"Stand up, what's wrong?" Kairos said frowning at her battered condition.
"Master Kairos, that the empress dowager has seized the palace. The emperor has been put under house arrest in the name of accompanying the empress as she has been poisoned and is unconscious. As for My lady, she....she...... They have tortured her a lot and now the empress dowager has put a soul lock on her because of which......"
"Speak" he said as he gritted his teeth.
"The soul lock has affected my lady's dragon blood and.... and caused her to go into.... into...... *she bit her lips because of fear* now only being with a man.........can it be solved."
Natalie almost fainted from the oppressive aura radiating from him.
