"Take her to the Lord quickly. Who would have thought that the cold-hearted crown prince would care for someone."
*CRASH* the table was flipped.
"WHERE DID SHE GO? HOW WERE YOU GUYS EVEN PROTECTING HER? " Shouted Ezekiel.
"Your Highness, we found this" said the head butler handing a note which was stuck with a dagger on the wall. It had the location of a mountain.
"Let's go" he commanded.

"Uhmm!!" I felt my head throbbing and opened my eyes.
I saw that I was on a mountain and lying down under a tree.
I was observing my surroundings "Oh you woke up so soon. Well it's good the prince would be here anytime."
"Why did you betray His Highness?" I was shocked by looking at the prince's shadow guard standing in front of me.
"Because I got more benefits from others."
I glared at him then turned my head away.
Soon I heard the sound of hooves of the horses. I looked around and saw Ezekiel jumping off the horse and running to me.
"Lippe!!"
"Stop right there prince." The shadow guard made me stand near the cliff and put a knife on my neck.
"Leave her alone, you have enmity with me." Ezekiel said as he was moving towards us slowly.
"One more step and she'll die" the guard said coldly pressing the knife on my neck drawing blood.
"Write a letter saying that you will give up the throne." he threatened.
"Okay I'll do it" Ezekiel agreed as he signalled one of his subordinates to bring a brush and paper.
Seeing this I shouted "NO Ezekiel, Stop, it's your dream!!!! You can't give up on it like that."
"It's okay Lippe, nothing will happen to you." he looked at me gently
I shook my head desperately.
"Stop your chit-chat and write fast." the shadow guard made a cut on my neck.
"Ahh!!" I winced.
"Wait I'm doing" said Ezekiel as he looked at us.
Seeing that he was going to sign his name, I suddenly grabbed the shadow guard's hand which was on my neck.
Startled he screamed "What are you doing?"
Hearing his scream Ezekiel looked at us and his eyes widened "Lippe!!! Stop!!!" he screamed.
I smiled at him as he ran towards me "Zeke, Be a good emperor okay."
"I love you Zeke" I said and jumped off the cliff while pulling the shadow guard with me.
Suddenly my hand got grabbed. I saw Ezekiel lying on the edge of the mountain and clasping my hand.
"I'll pull you up Lippe, Ugh! don't worry."
"No leave my hand, Zeke you will fall down"
"I won't" he said while dragging me up.
"Ahhh!" suddenly a force pulled me down and I saw the guard hanging on a stone and pulling me.
"Today you both will die with me" he said menacingly.
"No" my eyes widened and I started struggling.
"Lippe stop, please" he begged as my hand started slipping from his grip.
"No! Please, No! Don't do this to me." he looked at me.
"Don't leave me please" he cried trying to grasp my hand tightly.
I smiled at him softly "Goodbye Zeke" then my hand left his grasp and I fell down.
"NOOO LIPPE!!!"
"LIPPE!!!"
"CALLIOPE!!!!" he tried to jump down.
"Your Highness" the guards came and grabbed him.
"Your Highness you can't put yourself in danger. You are the crown prince."
"Yes, she asked me to become the emperor. Right I'll become the emperor." he murmured staring at the cliff in daze.
After that day he requested the emperor to pass the throne to him and became the new emperor. He used to spend all his time working then faint from exhaustion. Then after gaining consciousness he would again start working and the cycle repeated. The empire prospered under his rule, but he got weaker day by day.
After three years he finally passed away due to exhaustion and poison residue that was left in his body.

'Lippe... Lippe love you.... Your Highness..... Ezekiel...... Lippe.....Don't leave....'
"Ugh no!! Stop" shaking her head unconsciously.
"Zeke!!" she suddenly sat up.
*Clack* the door opened.
"The patient is awake." the nurse screamed.

"Do you remember your name?" the doctor asked.
"Lipp.... Calliope" I replied.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"
"How long have I been unconscious?"
"One month" the doctor answered.
"I want to get discharged" I said.
"Well you can but after a final check up."
I nodded my head.
After leaving the hospital I went home and stayed cooped up in my house for a week.
*RING*
'Miss Calliope, we need your help in a case. Are you available?'
".... Okay I'll be there."
'Oh and there is a new crime branch head who has joined our department.'
"Alright I'm coming"
I went to shower then got ready and left my house and reached the crime branch office.
*Knock Knock * I knocked on the door.
"Come in" I heard a deep voice amidst other people's.
As soon as I stepped inside my eyes widened "Zeke" I whispered.
The man with black hair looked at me darkly.
An officer stepped forward "Miss Calliope do you know our chief?"
"No" I replied looking away.
Then we started working. The whole time I could feel a gaze following me. Finally, after a long day the investigation was over. I left the office and walked towards my car.
"Mmmm!!!" someone covered my mouth and grabbed me from behind. Then picked me up and stuffed me in the backseat of a car and locked the door after getting inside.
My eyes widened seeing the face of the person in front of me.
He hugged me and whispered in my ear "It's me Lippe."
I stiffened "Zeke" I called out.
"Yes" he said then kissed me hungrily.
We kissed roughly as if we were starving of each other's presence.
I tapped his shoulder, unable to breathe.
He started kissing my neck "Lippe, My Lippe. " He murmured.
He started kissing my shoulder after opening my shirt's button "You are still there." he whispered
My eyes got teary listening to him mumbling.
He buried his face in my chest then kept rubbing, kissing and biting.
"Ahh!! en..enough.... ha!!!!"
"Stop.... Mhmmm.... Ze... Zeke..."
He started kissing my stomach, making hickeys all over them.
"Uhmm...Ngh..... Ahh..."
"St.... Ah... wait... Zeke..."
I covered his mouth to stop him. Then pulled his face closer to mine and hugged him.
"Look I'm here only."
"I won't go anywhere"
He looked at me continuously without blinking as if I would vanish if he blinked.
I covered his eyes. He panicked and removed my hand from his eyes then hugged me tightly.
"I love you Lippe. Don't leave me again."
"Hmm, me too, I also love you."
'Love you in different times' they said in their hearts.
