(Time Skip)
Rosella woke up around 2' o clock in the afternoon, her head throbbing from not getting enough sleep. It's been two weeks since she arrived here and finally it is THAT DAY. After the incident in the restaurant she and Asher met a few times to discuss work related matters.
She got ready and went to his base.
*At Asher's mafia base*
"Boss someone stole the agreements of our deals with other mafia groups and submitted them to the government."
A shadow guard appeared beside him though her face was covered, one could tell she had a seductive figure. "Master I think it's that Mafia Queen. Didn't she come here many times, she might have taken the information then."
*Ring* his phone rang. He accepted the call "Greetings King, I didn't expect you to not find out about her. I really thought it would be difficult to get my hands on these deals but it looks like you trust her very much". Asher's fists clenched and veins were showing on them. "Thank you for your hard work" said the smiling voice and hung up.
Asher threw his phone , and it crashed into the wall breaking into pieces. Then he strode out. He took his car and went to her base.
They met each other on the road. Seeing her smiling face in the car, he crashed hers with his.
Ah!!! She exclaimed, not expecting him to suddenly crash his car in hers. Her head bleeding from bumping on the steering. Seeing him coming out, she hurriedly got down from her car and went towards him.
"Asher are you all righ..." *Gasp* she suddenly moved back seeing him throw a punch at her. "Asher" she stared at him in shock. He again tried to hit her. She avoided his attacks, trying to defend herself making sure she doesn't hurt him by accident.
As they were fighting she noticed a red dot on his back.
"Asher get away" she screamed. "Do you think I'll believe you agai..........." He looked at her in horror as she pushed him and a bullet pierced her chest.
Ugh!! *Cough* Blood gushed out of her back.
"Dammit" someone exclaimed from far then raised his gun and shot Asher.
"Stay down Asher" she said in slow voice covering him with her body as he looked frozen from shock.
*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*
"Mmm" she moaned in pain as blood started coming from her mouth. It splattered on his face.
Finding the gun empty, the man ran away.
Her arms gave out, and she plopped on his chest. Snapping out Asher held her and sat up. His head started throbbing.
"It's okay.... Reach the top.... Don't cry..... Goodbye Asher...... Sher..... Sher....SHER.......Goodbye Asher" he gasped as he opened his eyes.
"ROSE" his eyes wide as he exclaimed. "No! Not again." "Open your eyes.... Please". "I'm sorry I forgot about you..... wake up please I beg you"
"WAKE UP!!!" "Ugh" she stirred. Hearing her voice he picked her up and ran towards his car. He drove to the hospital at full speed causing the traffic police to chase him nonetheless he didn't stop and sped up.
After reaching the hospital "ANYONE! GET HERE!!! CALL THE DOCTOR!!! NOW"
"Sir" the doctors came running towards him. "Oh no she's bleeding too much, get a stretcher and prepare for operation." She was carried inside the operation room. "Sir you...you can't...enter" the nurse stuttered looking at him. "Boss stay here, the doctors will not be able to operate properly if you are inside" his assistant came running behind him. He stopped, listening to his assistant and stood at the door. The operation went on for hours. "Quick her heart beat is dropping...... Get blood bags.......... Stitch here........" noise kept coming from inside. Asher stood rooted at his spot till the next morning. *Click* the door to the operation room opened.
"HOW IS SHE" he asked.
"She's out of danger now, but she needs to be kept here for observation. She'll wake up by tomorrow when the effect of anesthesia wears off."
Relieved he sat on the bench with a thud and covered his face with his palms. His assistant went with the doctor to know about the details.
"Boss you should also rest for a while."
"I'mfine, I'll be with her, you can go back" he said and went inside.
He sat beside her all day and finally fell asleep at dawn on the chair.
"Hmm" A slight sound was heard in the room as she opened her eyes.
"Asher" Ella whispered slowly "Water". Her throat hurting from speaking.
Turning her head she saw him sleeping, so she tried to reach for the glass kept at the side table.
*Crash* it fell down because she didn't have strength to hold it.
Startled Asher woke up and saw her trying to get up and almost got a heart attack "What are you doing, lie down" he held her carefully though his voice sounded strained.
"Water" she repeated.
"Wait" he went and brought her a glass of water and helped her drink it.
After keeping the glass aside he looked at her silently with red eyes.
Seeing the look in his eyes, "You remember" she said suddenly and the next moment tears started falling from his eyes.
"Come here" she opened her arms. He rushed to her but then stopped and held her carefully just like before as if he was afraid of breaking her.
"When did you get your memories back" she asked. He remained silent. Not hearing his reply she moved her head and saw him crying silently as his tears kept falling. After some time he replied "When i saw you falling down covered in blood" he whispered slowly.
"Looks like I should have gotten hurt before, then your memories would have come back earlier." Hearing her he bit her neck harshly. "Hiss!!" she sucked in breath from pain.
"You..... Why do you always get hurt, Can't you keep yourself safe" he said as he looked at her.
"Aren't I fine now."
"YOU CALL THIS FINE!!! HAVE YOU SEEN YOURSELF. DO YOU KNOW HOW SCARED I WAS WHEN I SAW YOU COVERED IN BLOOD!!! I THOUGHT I LOST YOU AGAIN."
*Sniffle*
"Sorry for hurting you and not believing you" he cried.
"It's okay I know it was because of that dagger. You know when I died, my soul was there watching you. So I know it's not your fault" she smiled gently at him.
"Don't cry. I won't leave you again."
"Promise"
"Rose's Promise"
He hugged her again "My Rose".
