The Mysterious Letter
It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, and Sylvia was sitting by the window, staring out at the grey sky.
She had no plans, no homework, and nothing to do. She sighed and stood up, ready to find something to pass the time.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
“Who could that be?” Sylvia muttered, walking toward the door.
When she opened it, no one was there, but there was a small envelope on the doorstep. She picked it up, feeling a bit confused. The envelope was plain, with no address or name.
Curious, she opened it. Inside was a single piece of paper with three simple words written in neat handwriting: “Meet me soon.”
Sylvia stared at the paper, her heart racing a little. Who would leave her a note like this? And why?
She looked around the yard but saw nothing unusual. Maybe it was a joke? But who would be playing pranks on her?
Sylvia decided to go back inside, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that she had to do something about the letter. She thought for a moment, then grabbed her jacket. She had to find out who wrote this.

Sylvia walked through the quiet streets, following the feeling of something important pulling her forward. She had no idea where she was going, but somehow, she just knew.
After a few minutes, she reached the old, abandoned house on the corner of the block. She had passed it many times but never really paid attention to it. Today, it seemed... different.
She stopped in front of the gate and looked up at the house. It was dark inside, but the front door was slightly open.
Before she could think too much, her feet moved on their own, carrying her toward the door. With a deep breath, she pushed it open and stepped inside.
“Hello?” she called out, her voice echoing in the empty hallway.
A figure appeared at the top of the stairs—someone she didn’t recognize. The person smiled gently and waved. “I knew you’d come.”
Sylvia froze. “Who are you?”
The person came down the stairs slowly. “I’m someone who needed you to find this place.”
Sylvia felt a chill run down her spine. “But why? What’s going on?”
The stranger stepped closer, still smiling. “It’s a secret, but one that’s yours to uncover. You’re special, Sylvia. You have a gift.”
Sylvia took a step back. “What do you mean? I don’t understand!”
“Everything will make sense soon,” the stranger said. “For now, just remember one thing: you were meant to be here.”
And with that, the figure disappeared into the shadows, leaving Sylvia standing in the dark house, more confused than ever.
But one thing was clear: her life was about to change forever.

And that was the moment Sylvia knew she was part of something bigger than she could ever imagine.
