"Um.My eyes hurt." I rushed my hands to my pockets, searching for my smartphone. It was quiet. No one but me was there. I looked at my phone, it was 6 in the evening. "Does I study too hard?" I held the back of my neck, massaged it as it seems like I was sleeping for a long time.
This is strange, where was everyone?
This silence was disturbing. He stood up. The sounds of his chair pushed to the back were loud. The classroom. The school. No, it was as if the world had become silenced. "What the hell is this? Why does I feel like I was in a horror movie?"
He walked to the window. Near to where he was standing. It was empty. No sights of human being. Allen knew something was not right but he also clueless.
Everyone. Seems like they were disappeared.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a voice. No, it was not just one. It were a lot of people. He smiled. He was relieved. A sigh came out of his mouth. He walked to the entrance door. "Ha, I-"
What? What is that?
Something. No, they were people. Or was it? Allen wanted to scream but a stone seem to stuck in his throat. A dizzy yet nauseous feeling came to him as he watched. "Argh, help-"
Help? You guys are just pranking, right?
His eyeballs was as if it were to burst out. He watched the man. He was surrounded by people. No, they were not people. The sharp teeths. The long nails. The bloody mouths. They were monsters in human skins.
"Argh!" The man looked in a lot of pain, they were eating him. The more he struggled to fight, the more came to bite and slowly, he lost his consciousness.
What is this? Why does my knees feel weak? I should run. I should-
The man. He started to stand up. His intestines dropped from his stomach but he still looked alive. His eyes. He was crying. "Sob... Sob..." Allen was scared. He unconsciously locked the door and went to lock another entrance door.
Damn it! Damn it!
He locked it. A red eyes. They were asking for help. That man now in front of him, only a wall of brick and a black tinted window separated them away. "I- I call-ed you fo- for help..." The figure started to cry out loud.
Eek. My ears. Argh!
Allen closed both of his ears out of response. He even closed his eyes. Suddenly, it was quiet. He then took a courage to open his eyes. "Oh shit."
The figure seem like trying to open the door but it was locked. He then tilted his head a little. "Strange... I thought there were no one inside." The man then went to the same spot Allen saw him.
Eek.
The man smiled. A creepy smile. Allen saw it, those monsters were behind that man too. They were standing there. Not even an inch. "You are there, right?" That sentence scared Allen out, he did not know what was that.
Are they not zombies?
He turned around. This left him more devasted. All the monsters suddenly stood there. All of the students even teachers. They looked at him. They seem to understand Allen was the only one who was still alive.
"..."
No way out, what I'm supposed to do?
He heard a knock. He quickly turned around. That man was started to knock the door. "Please. Please open the door." Allen's breathing was out of his normal pace. Shook. Fear. Helpless. He cannot control his breathing. The man smiled at him as if he can see through the black tinted window at Allen.
Save me. I don't wanna die. Please, anyone-
The man knocked again, this time a little louder than the first one. "Open the door! I know you are there!" That left Allen weak, he fell down to his knees to the sight he was staring at. They were waiting for him.
His mental state was in his lowest. He was hungry. The night seem to come much slower than he anticipated. He wished someone would come. At least that was his last wish. The night he spent was rather noisy and quiet. They were still outside the classroom.
"Why didn't you help me? Sob... Sob..." The man cried out all night. Allen tried to close his eyes, ignoring all the noises the monster made. And finally, he felt a light shined on his face. It supposed to hurt his eyes more since it was supposed to be morning.
He woke up to a familiar scene. Like the first one, he rushed to reach his smartphone. It was 6 in the evening again. He ran and looked at the window again. It was empty as well. Suddenly, he heard the same voice. The crowded voices of people. He slowly walked to the entrance door. "Argh, help-"
That man! Again!
This time, Allen was quick, he closed the entrance doors and windows as fast as he could so he would not be noticed. Yet a familiar scene happened in front of him. That man stood there again, in the same spot, asking the same thing again. "Why didn't you help me?"
Allen then realized something. Unlike the first one, he accidentally dropped his phone, this time he had it. He was glad. He opened his lock screen and that smile disappeared.
6:55 p.m.
Tuesday
It was the same day. "Oh no! No. No. No. A loop?" He looked at the man, he confirmed it.
I fell in a loop, huh.
He gripped his phone tight. They both glaring at each other.
