Ai suddenly spaced out, brought his hands together, and said the word "system." However, nothing happened, and he looked disappointed. He told the others to copy what he just did, and without hesitation, they brought their hands together and said "system" in unison.
A screen appeared before them with the word "System" emblazoned above it.
Byung-soon's eyes widened in surprise.
Byung-soon: "It works, but how did you know that, kid?"
*he asked.*
Ai looked at him with a neutral expression.
Ai: "Maybe it's coincidence?"
He said with a hint of amusement, his eyes glinting coldly as he scoffed.
"And don't call me kid, old man. I have a name"
Ai added, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
The others burst out laughing at Ai's jab, and Byung-soon chuckled good-naturedly.
*Ai asked.*
Ai: "What time is it?"
And one of the others checked his phone.
Joon: "It's almost 10:30 am."
*Ai nodded thoughtfully.*
Ai: "I'll head back home. If you guys need weapons, just ask me."
He grabbed Byung-soon's phone and added his own number to the contacts list.
Ai: "Don't worry about those goblins; almost all of them are dead now. They're weak."
Ai handed the phone back to Byung-soon and turned to leave.
*Young spoke up.*
Young: "Goblins? I thought they were just myths."
The others nodded in agreement, but they were all puzzled by how Ai seemed to know so much about the goblins.
Byung-soon checked the news on his phone and found that the reporter was saying almost the same thing Ai had said – that almost half of the goblins were dead.
Meanwhile, Ai walked back to his mansion, a sly smile spreading across his face as he muttered to himself.
Ai: "Thankfully, I wrote about 1,320 goblins that come out of random dungeons. This is just the beginning of the story; there's still a long way to go, my babies."
He chuckled to himself, his eyes glinting with mischief, before his expression returned to its usual neutral mask, and he continued walking with a sleepy gaze.
