Ai, the author and sole reader of his unpublished novel, "The World of Life & Death," died from an electrocution accident. However, he was reborn as an extra character in his own story, inhabiting the body of a young boy sharing his name, Ai. Despite their identical names, the two Ais have distinct appearances.
Determined to avoid disrupting the narrative, Ai promises himself to maintain a low profile, avoiding interactions with the main characters and storylines he meticulously crafted over five years and 3,764 chapters.
But, as Ai navigates this new reality, will he stick to his vow, or will the temptation to alter the course of events prove too great?
