Once upon a time, in a village, two children played a marriage game. The boy said, "I love you." The girl replied, "I love you too." He said, "The whole world is in my hands only because you said that. I agree." The girl was impressed and asked, "Why should I say agree?" The boy fell to his knees, then showed her a ring made from a flower and leaves. He proposed, saying, "Will you marry me?" She was impressed and asked, "Will you keep me safe in any situation? Will you protect me, comfort me, and love me?" He promised.
Ten years later, they got married and lived happily. After two years, they moved to the city. He got a placement at one of the top companies and worked hard. He got new female colleagues and became attached to them, forgetting to love his wife. His care and attention for her decreased.
One fine day, she called her husband, but he cut the call. She called again, and he didn't pick it again. After three hours, she called him again, and he finally attended. Suddenly, he shouted, "How many times did you call? I'm in the office; it's working hours!" She said, "I know it's working hours, but."
"It's your break time; working hours are finished," she said. "I called you one minute ago." He checked the time and asked, "What did you want to say? Say it fast!" She started crying.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, concerned. "Because you yelled at me," she replied.
"Three hours ago, why didn't you attend my call?" she asked, her voice shaking. "I was at work," he said. "So, why didn't you attend the call?" she repeated. "I was at work; it's no big deal," he replied. "Tell me why you called and why you're crying now."
She asked again, her voice filled with hurt frustration, "Why didn't you attend my call?" He asked, "What happened, dear?"
She took a deep breath and recounted her ordeal: "I was cleaning your shoe rack when a delivery boy came. He said, 'It's your parcel, ma'am.' I told him it wasn't ours; it must have been a mistake. He seemed nervous, looking around, and asked if someone was home. I said no one was home except my husband, and I knew it wasn't ours. He smiled subtly and forcefully pulled me into our house. He tried to touch my body... I felt helpless."
He pinned me against the wall, trying to remove my clothes. I managed to grab the wall lamp near the window and used it to defend myself, punching him in the head. He fell to the ground. I quickly ran inside, locked the windows and doors, and called you for help. But you cut the call. Again and again, I called you - over 250 calls in 45 minutes - but you kept cutting me off.
He felt ashamed of himself and accepted his mistakes. "I'm sorry," he said, tears streaming down his face. "I wasn't in the office; I was at my colleague's house for her birthday party. I was wrong to cut your calls." He cried, overcome with remorse.
"I broke my promise to you," he sobbed. "I don't deserve you, dear." He wept uncontrollably.
She said, "I want a divorce."
Six months later, he begged you not to go through with the divorce, apologizing profusely for his mistakes.
She replied, "You're begging me now because you've realized you can't manage a day without me. You're nothing without me."
He nodded, "Yes, I've realized my mistakes. Please don't leave me."
She accepted his apology, and he moved with her to a village. She started a farm together and lived happily ever after.
The End....
