"A moment of connection"
I took one step into the room and saw some familiar faces. I didn't look their way again since there were many of them. I walked silently until I saw my close friend sitting, then I surprised him. But he wasn't surprised. He just mocked me, and I sat beside him.
A minute passed, and my classmates noticed me. I looked at them - there were two of them. At first, one of them was shocked to see me, then they walked out. But his companion came back to see who his friend was looking at. Initially, I glanced at my phone, but when his companion stepped back, our eyes met.
I'm not sure if he realized this was my usual spot in class or if he did it without any particular meaning. I smiled, knowing our brief glance and interaction could be the highlight of my day. Now I know he's noticed me, taking the time to look at me, to make sure it was really me.
I hope this doesn't end here. I hope he'll continue to notice me, not just because someone else pointed me out, but because it's his own free will. Someday, you'll look at me, and the reason will be that you want to, because that's your will.
