XYZ POV:-
I was walking down the street as per my daily routine to my house but it was a little too late....I checked the time on my watch and shoot it's actually 9 pm....as it's dangerous at night I started to hurry but it would have still take another half and hour to reach my house so in order to reach my house I took shortcut which I have never taken before .....my gut feeling told me to not go from there but still i tooo that way..... I thought I would reach my home from this alley and went.....it was surprisingly a very quiet alley....I could hear my own heartbeat which was started to beat more fastly.....I don't know why it gave me chills still I kept walking forward.... suddenly I saw a man... probably he was short but he had covered himself with a blanket and nothing could be seen....even the street light was flickering where he stood.... suddenly he came at my direction....I was actually scared so I decided to run but I don't know why but I wasn't able to move....panic gripped my heart sweat trickle down my face....i again tried to move but it was too late...that man had already reached upto me...i decided to not to panic and stood there ....to my surprise he didn't hurt me yet....he was..a strange man....I was surprised and shocked when he told me some ridiculous thing but at the same time sent shiver to mem..he told me that when I pass that street light no matter what happens i shouldn't look back by mistake or god knows what might happen to you.... obviously i didn't believe but to be honest that made me scared but I didn't let it show to my face.....I asked him that why is he telling me....but he didn't answer and just looked at me creepyly...i again asked him that who was he and how did he know all of that .. suddenly he started laughing and that flickering light suddenly stopped and there was darkness all around me and suddenly he started laughing madly....god I was scared too scared that I started screaming help! Help!.....but my voice got in vain as there was none to answer me... suddenly that street light again glowed and that man was nowhere to be seen....i regretted my decision to take the shortcut but now i started to run to reach my house asap....and i passed that street light ....I don't know why but after passing through that light my heart became restless and unknown fear gripped me...still I kept walking forward...I reach to my mobile to call my friend but damnit there was no network....great... suddenly I heard someone calling me from behind in a creepy way....it looks like the voice was of a boy....i stopped at my tracks and was about to look behind but i remembered what that man said and stopped...I know i shouldn't test my curiosity at this time so I didn't looked back...I ignored the voice and walked forward....the sound came and it looks like the person was walking behind me with much more speed ...i got afraid and started walking faster and faster....that voice again called me and then told me "hey!! You forgot your purse! Here take it back!!" I checked my pocket without looking back and to my horror I had my purse in my pocket but the man continued "you have your family pick in this purse and some 500 bucks" which was actually true!! How the hell did he know that!! I started to get really afraid now and then I started running with my hole might....the voice now grew aggressive and shouted at me "look back! Look back!come here" then it started laughing hysterically.....i again looked for my phone while running to see if there is network but there was still no network.... I don't know why but the alley wasn't ending which made me more panicky but to my luck the voice started to fade away....as I was walking i again got a voice...this time it was an old woman...she told me "hey girl what are you doing here?? Don't you know about those midnight noises and all...it's very risky after knowing that how can you come into this alley??" I was about to look back and ask that old lady about all this but remembering that strange man word i didn't looked back but asked "uhm could you tell me about this I don't know" the old lady told " come I'll tell you here look at me" i again grew panicky as i remember that strange man told me that it will try any
Means to make me look back but i shouldn't do that so I didn't look back and walked forward.....now again that old lady said"hey girl come here!! You can't go like this !! " And suddenly started laughing and shouting "look back look back!!" I now at this state didn't listen and run and run....I can now see my home from the next Street and suddenly hope arises and I ran but suddenly I heard my friends voice "hey what are you doing here?? Why did you come here it's risky don't you know" hearing my friends voice i looked back and that was my mistake and I saw noone and then i remembered my friend can't come here....now cold sweat appeared at my back as there was nothing but just dark....and then i again ran back but to my horror now I can't see my house.... everything became dark suddenly I saw the same strange man who warned me now laughing and saying "I told you not to look back but you still look back" i now being too afraid finally started running but the more I ran the more darkness engulfed me and from behind that same old man was coming "you can't run away now!! Why did you look back!!" He started laughing madly I ran and ran and suddenly boom that old man was infront me and I fell back...I saw his face under that same street light....his face was burnt...eyes red and was now looking very scary...i closed my eyes and shouted...... suddenly I opened my eyes and saw I was in my bedroom....was it a dream??....then who was he and what did he want??....but why did it feels so real??....I washed my face and went out and suddenly my parents told me "hey! Why did you took shortcut from that route"...I was confused and then they told me that recently there was some paranormal activity around that area and now it had become secluded and is very dangerous to go??.....I was shocked so that mean I wasn't dreaming....it was true....I asked my parents how did i cone then??....and they suddenly smiled creepyly just like that man and didn't said anything....and then i looked around and saw that the same man was sitting in that sofa.... looking at me creepyly and laughing without emotion.....
