Shin + Iris
'The Two Birds'
+ You'll never know how far you'd fight for love unless you're in it
Shin, quite a fit fellow of early twenties, with a cloud of brown short hair.
He walked along the book shelf aisle in the library in search of his desired book type, It was noon. Tuesday. He pulled a book as he read the title.....he scoffed afterwards and replaced it back. He pulled the other two checking their titles. "Seriously Mandy? Does that book even exist?", he spoke to himself with a low tone. As he was about to place them back, he saw a girl through the open space of the shelf he pulled the books from. She was writing while sitted at the other side. She had short red hair tied at the back, with her glasses on.
Shin couldn't help but stare, while frozen stiff, quite in awe of her prettiness. She halted writing and raised her head a bit as she noticed Shin gazing at her throgh the book shelf and looked back. Their eyes met, Shin's heart ached, his brown eyes widened a bit. He couldn't move, he saw her looking back directly with her green eyes behind her glasses. He hastily put back the books closing the gap he was watching from. She returned to her writing. Shin slammed his forehead against the shelf over and over a bit. "Stupid! Stupid!", he whispered to himself. He sighed, he exited and returned home. "Well?", Mandy his big sister spoke as he was entering the house standing by the door frame entrance of the kitchen, holding a wooden spoon. She had beautiful blonde hair, wearing blue mini shorts and a white top while bare footed.
"I couldn't find it", Shin said removing his jacket hanging it. "Seriously Shin?", Mandy said as she dropped her hands. "I'm serious, you had me wander the entire library....I'm starting to think that book of yours doesn't even exist", he replied. "My God, it does, you just had to keep looking", she yelled returning back to the cooker. "And fill myself with abashment even further? No thanks", said heading to the diner. "Wait, what do you mean?", she rashily exited the kitchen as Shin sat on the couch. "Shin? What happened?", she questioned as she sat beside him on the arm rest. "I....saw someone there....a girl, she was writing and she caught me glaring and I-" "Let me guess...you froze", Mandy stifled his sentence as she said. "Uh,...y-yes", he stammered. "Ugh Gosh Shin, again? When are you gonna grow some balls to say what you feel?", Mandy asked. "I....I do have the balls", he said. "You do huh? What about Elina from next door? I know you have a crush on her", she replied. Elina Hawkson, lived next door, she was in the early twenties just like Shin. She had beautiful black hair and was quite a cutie herself.
"Wh-I....no I don't", he said looking away a bit with his low tone. "Gosh you're so easy to read....okay I'm gonna pretend like I'm Elina", she said as she waved her hair to the other side. "What Shin?", she said copying Elina's expressions," got something to say Shin?" Shin blushed a bit and looked away. "You're an imbecile", he said. "Oh my God are you blushing?", Mandy questioned with a smile on her face. "No I'm not", he replied still looking away. "Haha, Shin, you should tell her if you like her", she said. "Mandy, stop taunting your brother", Limora their mother said coming from upstairs. She too was blonde just like Mandy.
She shared some of her features with her daughter. "Mom seriously, its been a while and he still haven't told her yet", Mandy said. "He will,...when he's ready", she said entering the kitchen. "Oh trust me he'll never be ready", Mandy said. "I will be,...you'll see", he said as Mandy got off and scoffed.

"Haha hola sis", he said. "Hola Poli", she greeted back, "and...where's my little sister?!!" "Not here", Iris said on her phone facing the other way by the wall. She heard hard footsteps coming from behind. "Huh?", as soon as she looked back Liris jumped behind her as they both fell down. "Uhh Gosh Liris!!", Iris exclaimed a bit. "Hahaha, hola sis", Liris chuckled a bit. "Haha, hola to you too", Iris replied with a chuckle as they both stood up. "Those two,...still clumsy as ever", aunt Kalano said. "Haha, I know right? They sometimes get on each other's nerves and fight like really fight,...but, all that being said, they're inseparable", Sarina said. "They sure are growing up", Kalano said. "They sure are", Sarina replied. They later set the table and everyone sat preparing food chatting. "Can I have your attention please!", Liris stood up and everyone went silent. The following day, Wednesday Shin entered the art museum, he had his brown bag on the side, with a white t-shirt and black jeans. He wandered along gazing at the most finest art pieces. He stumbled upon a quite bizzare art piece, it had two robin birds on it. One of the birds was standing on a little branch, whilst the other one was about to fall struggling to fly up to the branch. It piqued his interest, he peered closer trying to make out the art piece. He noticed a face beside him peering also. He looked beside him at his left side, and the person looked back at him. It was Iris the girl he saw at the library, he widened his eyes with their faces a small gap apart as she did the same "Huh?", Shin was surely shocked. "Uh", and so was Iris.
