"Number 39." A large lizanoid called. No response received, it hissed.
"Number 39!" It repeated. Anger showing through with its hissing fit.
"Here! Sorry I didn't-" A small woman tried explaining.
"It would do you well to start improving your listening skills, no mercy for a defective human. "It's beedy eyes raked over her starved frame, shaking it's gigantic head in disgust.
"Sorry sir, I won't do this again. " The woman appologised, only to frown at the lizanoid looking insulted.
"It appears you'd need to improve your eyesight too, I'm a female, can't you tell?" Her voice sounded annoyed.
"Right, right, sorry. " The woman appologized again. Looking around her to see if anyone was approaching to punish her.
"Mmmph. You can be lucky you got me today, anyone else and I'd have sent you to the lobby."
"Thank you, master." Nodding the female lizanoid waved her to pass through a door.
Walking through the passage, the woman brought her arms around herself, shivering in the thin threadbare cotton dress. It's been more than 200 years since the invasion earth receive in 2025.
A lot took place after that. Somehow Nasa accidently tore a gateway open with a tester rocket. This gateway allowed other dimensions to be able to freely travel to Earth.
The unrest between different species caused a massive galatic war, and with humans unable to keep up with newer, better and faster technology. They were soon deemed the filth of the galaxy.
Currently all dimensions had area codes starting from one and ending at 10. Earth fell in ten, the lowest ranking dimension, with 1 earned for the Chromatic race. They were superior and had many ruling stations in different galaxies.
Like humans they were similar in features except for their pale colored skins and golden eyes.
Human trades became popular as galaxies saw a profit by using them as maids or even test subjects.
The young woman that was currently sold to a Chromatian was part of a breeding colony.
Breeding colonies were done by most dimensions as a way to breed humans a certain way, by race, features and intelligence.
Rain was part of breeding colony x17. A colony bred for caregivers. Currently her new master was in need of a caregiver for his son.
A dazzling light nearly blinded the poor woman as a static voice came through.
"Disrobe and step into the red square."
Rain did so, the motion a common practice. Humans had to undergo several of these routine pest controls throughout daily activities, cleaning stations available at nearly every corner.
"Step into the square. " Rain had taken a second longer than was needed. The voice box disconnected as soon as she stepped into the square.
Harsh sprays were switched on. The pressure hurting her skin. She bit her teeth trying very hard to think of something else.
It lasted for only 30 seconds but it was enough to start bruising her brown skin. Her curly hair laid matted against her neck.
She walked away from the square and continued through the light path. It took her several shivering minutes until she reached the door that would take her into a changing room.
Casting her eyes downwards she opened the door and stepped through. Humans were prohibited to look at each other. To prevent human attatchmemt and psychological bonding. Failure to do so ended with a reset. A drug given to force amnesia.
Rain stood next to another human, opening a locker to take out her new clothes.
"Hey, you going to a Chromatian?" Rain refused to respond in case this was an Human Intelligence officer.
"Right... You one of those. " Rain so badly wanted to get away.
"Anyway, word of advice, if they offer love, take it, falling in love is something we were robbed of. "
Falling in love? That wasn't something Rain understood. The other woman finally walked away leaving Rain to herself.
She slowly dressed, keeping her head down. Once done, she left the room and continued walking through the path until the voice box announced that she must wait.
A few minutes of waiting went by before a tall figure approaced her.
"Raise you head Rain." She did so, only because it was her master. Only masters had the authority to call a human by their breeding name. Other humans and faction leaders called them by number. 39 was the embryo number her birthing mother donated to the breeding center.
Elite humans got paid whenever they donated embryos. A highly paid option.
"You look starved." He said honestly.
Rain looked into his golden eyes and fine features. He looked very feminine with a pinched nose, high cheekbones and plum lips. Watching his disappointed stare at her body. He motioned her to follow him.
"Come." She did as told.
Following him she watched his large sandled feet move at a smooth pace. Her smaller feet rushing to keep up.
They entered a space car. It's engines warming up as it started. Finally she was able to relax. Her eyes closing and shoulders lowering.
"A wonder to see a woman so relaxed around me, it's usually the opposite reaction I'm after. " Her master's voice sounded teasing.
Something she wasn't accustomed to. She opened her eyes to stare and his crinkled ones. At first she thought he must be angry but when she looked at his mouth, the anticipated scowl was replaced by a smile.
His smile however dropped when he noticed her Shivering.
"Hey, hey, relax, I won't hurt you." Rain found it difficult to relax. She wasn't even sure why she started trembling when this man did nothing to cause it.
Unwanted tears started forming in her eyes and nothing she did would stop them forming. She has never acted like this, why was this man so different?
"It's okay... Perfectly human to cry when faced with Kindness." That's what this was? A reaction because he was kind? This is what kindness was like?
A broken sob escaped her, sending her frame jerking from fright. The man across her didn't know whether to laugh or remain silent at the woman's reaction to her own crying. He choose to remain silent.
"You know, where I'm taking you will only be good for you." She wasn't sure she could believe him. Chromatians were known to be lavish and wild. He could be taking her to death and smile while doing it.
She nodded unsure of what to say. He frowned and took one of her hands, massaging the soft limb.
"I know I requested a caregiver for my son, but... I was hoping for something more. " Cocking her head to the side, Rain uttered her first set of words to him.
"What is that?"
"Oh you can speak! Wonderful!" He did look delighted. "I'm hoping for a mate."
"What's that? " She asked blinking.
"It's like a pet. "
"A pet? "
"Yes, you mate with someone you'll care for without expecting the same thing in return."
"Mmm? " Rain did not understand... The human pets she heard of were mostly killed within the same night they were adopted.
"No no! Not like a human pet... Uh." He sounded unsure. "Do you have drakes? No wait, you have dogs. Yes do you have dogs?"
Rain nodded.
" And you care for them without expecting they can care for you in the same way? " She cocked her head not fully understanding the comparison.
"Okay... You give them food and water, but you don't expect them to do the same. " She nodded slowly.
"Great! So being my mate, I'd look after you but I won't expect you to look after me in the same way... " Rain slowly nodded and the man seemed encouraged to continue.
"Granted here we aren't allowed to do so, but in my dimension you'll find things are much different."
"What's different?" She asked.
"Humans are regarded as equals. Took us a few years, but the law finally passed yesterday." Rain couldn't believe her ears.
"Equal? " This man had to be lying.
"Yes equal." He smiled. "And I'll be sure to make you feel that way and much more."
His eyes raked over her boddy, stopping at the small imprints of her breast.
"You're a little thin right now, but once I've made sure you're well and ready, I'll be able to make you mine."
"Yours? But I am yours." Rain wasn't sure what he meant.
"You don't know how arousing that is." He licked his lips. "I meant be mine in a different sense."
Still looking confused, the man grabbed her arm and brought his hot mouth to her ear, a delightful sensation being exposed to her.
"A kind of mine that allows me to give you pleasures instead of pain." Blowing air across her cheek he gently pressed his lips to the hollow between her neck and ear, receiving a soft 'eep' as a reward.
"We'll need to wait to do more, preferable once you've filled the weight you've lost." He smiled cheeky at her. Giving her a wink for good measures.
Rain unstrained by understanding embarrassement, brought a hand to her flaming cheeks.
"Why am I feeling hot?" She asked him.
"That my dear, is something called blushing, a response that's good."
"But I don't feel good, I feel uncomfortable."
"Want me to help?" He asked in the same teasing tone. Rain nodded unknowingly.
He darted forward grabbing the back of her head. He brought his lips down hard. Rain was so surprised that she gasped out loud, giving him the chance to capture her lips more intimately. The slow massaging was disrupted when Rain tried doing the same. The awakard movements forcing the man to let go of her.
"I'll teach you next time." Rain nodded eagerly.
"Thank you master." Rain gave him a small smile, confused when he frowned instead.
"I'm Elaire, don't call me master." Rain nodded slowly.
"But why-"
"I'm not your master and never will be one." Rain nodded, feeling a stir in her stomach when she looked at his compassionate gaze.
"You should rest." He told her gently. "Our journey together will need all your enegry." He grinned, pulling her against him.
Her small breast against his firm muscles one, gave Rain another wave of that uncomfortable feeling. She didn't like it, nor did she hate it. She just wished that whatever her body wanted would be given. And when she stared at his golden eyes, she couldn' help but smile at him.
