The moment our eyes met for the first time, I knew my life was about to change forever. Our worlds collided as he stood there in the hall with an enigmatic glint in his brown eyes staring at my own.
Even before I could read it,we were deep in love and soon afterwards an inseparable married couple that everyone envied and aspired to be.
Like a moth to the flame, we were impossible to separate.
I believed the love between us was eternal regardless of the several ups and downs in our married life. But, soon the bruises on my body began to outnumber his kisses and I found myself weeping in the darkness more often than I smiled.
Even though, some part of me knew our love was slowly dwindling away, I refused to give up the love we built with so much effort. So,I began to make up his brutality towards me and savor his kisses while they lasted.
Just like the moth, despite the fact that the vivacious flame was dreadful for its life, it would still cling onto it.
But, shouldn't the moth choose to fly away before it was too late?
