Once, a girl named Rose visited her grandmother at an orphanage. She was very excited to meet her, but her grandma refused to see her. No one knew why. Rose tried everything to meet her and talk to her, but her grandmother just ignored her.
One day, Rose met someone who was close to her grandmother and asked why she was ignoring her. The person replied, "Your grandmother doesn't want to meet you because she believes you are responsible for her daughter’s death—your mother. Your mother passed away while giving birth to you, and your father also died because of your mother's death."
Rose was shocked. "How could she think that about me?" she wondered.
She then shared her story with the person. "I’ve suffered so much," she said. "I was raised by a poor family who struggled to have enough to eat. Despite their hardships, they were kind to me. But there was one man who never loved me and would beat me whenever he was angry. I couldn’t bear it any longer, so I ran away. I didn’t eat for three days until I reached this place.
A man named John told me that I had a family, but they had all passed away. He said that my grandmother is still alive and living in this orphanage. I came here because I wanted to be with her. Please, can you explain everything to her so she understands? Let me be with my grandmother.
Grandmother doesn't listen to anyone, so she wanted to go back to the place where she lived before. Everyone was worried about her, but then that person came and beat her because they had to search for her everywhere. Rose lived that life until she completed high school, and then she applied for a job.
Finally, she got a job that allowed her to support the family. Everyone was happy about that. However, the person who always beat Rose would take her monthly salary and spend it drinking all day. Rose was upset about it because working hard seemed useless.
She once told that person not to spend her money, but the man was so angry that he beat her so badly she could barely walk. One day, her grandmother came to find her and apologized for the things she had done to her.
Rose happily forgave her, and her grandmother took Rose with her. They lived happily together after that.
Thank you....
