The Picture in the sky is about two artists whose worlds collide. One who is abstract, difficult to understand, realistic, often pessimistic, monotoned and awkward, while the other laid back, down to earth, optimistic, upbeat and free spirited. The two with very different perspective on art and personalities come together in this odd Boy love tale of creativity and romance.
A famous solitary, talented artist known for his emotionally inducing and abstract artwork is caught in a slump and suddenly stops putting out exhibitions of his pieces and abruptly goes MIA from the art world. He redraws into his studio and studies, and doesn't answer anyone's calls or accept any requests. A very odd, and quirky person, he tends to be very absorbed in what he does, and hardly talks about anything other than art and visuals, in general he isn't good at talking or conversing, so he speaks his feelings through his art. The whole reason why he suddenly stopped exhibiting his art was because he has been struggling to find a muse as he hasn't had one since his last exhibition, which was two years ago. His talents have earned him a name in the artist world, and he has solo exhibition numerous times, despite him being in highschool at the time and currently in college, he is quite successful. One day, in search of what could be his inspiration for the day, he finds a student from the same department as himself sitting upside down on a tree branch and using a camera to take a picture of the sky above. Though it looked rather normal, to the artist, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his lifetime, he wasn't sure if it was because how the sun rays reflected on this mystery person's hair and flawless dark skin, or the ethereal beauty of the wind blowing past his hair, making him seem otherworldly, but he couldn't take his eyes off them in that very moment. It's as if the world had blurred into nothing and all that was left was that person and him.
