It left her filled with cark,
A shadow always lurking in the dark.
Used to stay by her side and hark,
Her eyes always filled with spark.
Every time she was sad, it used to talk,
Every time she ran, it used to walk.
Every time she slept, it used to gawk,
Every time it showed its presence, she was left in shock.
It used to get stronger from her fear,
While she was too afraid for it to disappear.
Every time she closed her eyes, it would reappear,
The pain it gave her always seemed severe.
It always burned her to extreme,
Her painful agony turning into steam.
It closed her mouth when she tried to scream,
She was always reassured by the fact that it’s all a dream.
