Yo so one day I woke up and checked my bank account like any other day and guess what I saw 20 BILLION dollars sitting there like it was nothing. I honestly thought I was dreaming or someone hacked my account but nope it was real. My heart was pounding so fast I almost dropped my phone. What do you even do with that much money? So many options I didn’t even know where to start.
First thing I did was call my fam. My parents have always worked super hard to make sure I had what I needed but never anything extra. So I transferred a big chunk of the cash to their accounts. Told them they didn’t have to worry about bills anymore. Imagine their reaction when they saw that. My mom started crying and my dad just stared at the screen in disbelief. I could tell they didn’t know what to say but I didn’t need them to. I knew they were relieved.
Next I thought about my friends. We always talk about starting something big one day but never had the cash to back it up. So I hit them up and told them to pack their bags we were about to change everything. We started brainstorming ideas for a business that wasn’t just for profit but to make the world better. I mean if you have 20 billion why not try to actually do something good with it right? So we came up with this insane plan to start a clean energy company. Solar power was the way to go. We wanted to make it affordable for everyone everywhere.
Then I thought about my school. College was getting crazy expensive and so many people are drowning in debt. So I set up a scholarship fund for students who wanted to go to school but couldn’t afford it. I was like why let these kids struggle when we have the chance to help? The goal was to make sure that no one had to choose between their dreams and their bank account.
But I wasn’t stopping there. I wanted to give back in every way possible. So I invested in projects to end hunger and homelessness. I’m talking real solutions not just handing out food but creating sustainable systems that could actually fix these problems. I started funding hospitals and mental health centers too because I believe people deserve to feel good physically and mentally not just survive.
I used some of the money to build a community center where kids can go to learn coding or just hang out and stay out of trouble. My dream was for every kid to have access to opportunities no matter where they came from. My friends and I were talking about turning our hometown into a model city for how things should be done like sustainability education and innovation.
At the end of the day the money wasn’t about flexing on Instagram or buying a mansion it was about making a real change. With 20 billion you can make dreams happen but it’s not just about you. It’s about everyone else too. My goal was to show that money can be used for way more than just living big. It can change lives.
And that’s how I found 20 billion and flipped the script.
