They met in the sea, dark and grim,
With hatred in both eyes, hollow with no dream,
One with no hope in life to hold,
The other, looked into his soul so cold.
In fate's predestined motion,
They met on the brink of emotion,
With each other's embrace, a torch in the dark alley,
Though misunderstood, they care selflessly,
Perhaps, it was destiny's delight,
For them to see the radiance of love that took flight,
For what was once shallow and dull,
Suddenly became something deep and colorful,
Feeling undeserving of love, a thought that never dies,
Yet, when looking into his deep blue eyes,
It reflected the ethereal beauty of the skies,
How vast and unending his love could be for him,
Gazes that only they understand,
A language through the silence wherein they stand,
Slowly but surely it grows, unconditionally it flows,
The love that they unconsciously sow in their heart that overflows,
It is dim, where no light could be seen except for the stars,
Yet in that very moment, the desire to have each other blooms in sparks,
They met in the ocean in the dimmest of light,
And that's why— they love each other like a low tide in twilight.
A scenery where the sun slowly sets with grace
The darkness of the night that slowly engulfs them with brace,
Night by the sea, together they wander,
Both that hold each other's hands, they've never let go, and they never stop to wonder—
-the end.

"Night by the sea"
