Soulmates, yet were forcefully broken apart by fate's cruel hand,
So close to each other, but far away they stand,
One was the ray of light, wherein angels descends,
The other in the shadows of darkness, where neither good nor evil transcends,
Stories that are yet to unfold,
Kim Dokja, the lone reader, bears knowledge untold,
Through the unfolding pages, mysteries are solve,
Yet, none see's the chaos that's yet to come, no one could resolve,
Immersing himself in pain, he's learned to fight,
But always alone, in the dimmest of light.
Yoo Joonghyuk, a warrior that existed from despair,
Endless regressions, a burden to bear.
Both have the same goals— to change the ending, dancing through the rhythm,
But do they have the power to do so? With each heart sung through the hymm,
One with memories of his past and a sword in his hands,
The other with knowledge on how the world stands,
Together they marched forward, determined to see the end,
Only for one to be sacrificed in the name of being a friend,
A hero, heart filled with unrelenting sorrows, a loss of life he wants to regain,
So, he decided to endlessly regress, yet to no avail he never saw him again,
A reader, who stood there, with a heart full of grief, a path he selfishly pave,
Watching silently to the world he wished to save,
With the omniscient's view, armed with the inkling of the tale,
An advantage, yet loneliness, is a boat he shall sail.
Together, they met in the realms of ink,
A hero, a reader— with different ways to think,
Though they fought, they faltered, and though they bleed with might,
With each other's illuminating light, they ceased to be swayed by misery's delight.
With broken souls, they wander through the shallow pace,
Wishing to once again feel each other's embrace,
A world broken apart, yet in each other's company they felt whole,
In one another's presence they found refuge, a place with burning coal.
In the chapters that are yet to come,
A wishful thinking of going home,
Though the skies were filled with stars,
Their bodies, bruised up with scars.
Both were similar, yet so different,
One who wishes to change the words pent,
The other wanted to change destiny,
Yet, it crumbled upon time's cruelty,
Though separated by time, goodbye will never cross their lips,
In the cup of eternity they sips,
Holding on through the invisible string,
A lead to each one's brace, with gazes like spring.
In each different timeline, yearning for the presence of a reader,
Upon the constellations, screeching of anguish in his heart he held dear,
Thinking, when will all of this stop, a stare so grim,
The ache in his soul buried deep, one that submerged unto him,
the sole reason for their existence, agony that keeps them moving,
Thus, painting new colors on the canvas, determination unending,
Till one day— they met, a smile crept into their very cheek,
Tears stroll down their faces, finally— after 1864th regressions, they reunited— he hugged him with a touch so meek.
The end.
