Tears flowed from my eyes as I saw his retreating figure with another girl. He left me standing there as if nothing had happened, was it my fault for trusting him and loving him for 6 years. I did every thing to help him in his business, we were engaged with each other how could he do this to me.i stood there standing in the middle of the road it was late night and pluss it was raining were heavily. Memories of him flashed through my mind, the promises he made with me, how we used to talk about our future together, getting married,having kids and leading our life towards a bright future .But now thinking of him makes me like throwing up,he messed up my perfect life like a garbage bag.
Few days after this incident, he appeared in my workplace with his new girlfriend .Seeing their face made me totally disgusted.With the huge attitude of him, he came towards me holding his girlfriends hand, I rolled my eyes as they came near me.I asked Jasen(my ex whom I was talking about the whole time) Jasen! What the fu.k do you want to do this time (I asked him pretending to be very tough but from inside I felt like bursting into tears)" I want you to return our engagement ring "he said while avoiding eye contact with me. I silently removed the ring from my finger and returned it to him.(even though I was showing that he didn't matter to me but still my heart hurts like hell)There was a quite atmosphere for a while but suddenly Jasen's girlfriend spoke breaking the silence. He came close to me looked at my redend cheek and before I could even understand what was happening he gave me another slap to my other cheek. I stood there dump founded,and when I finally came to my senses I was laying in the hospital bed.
