"huh?" his words rung out through my ears as I stared at him in utter confusion before he smiled and started explaining
"I mean, you want to get away from your parents and so do i.. and we both need a partner to do so and this way the burden of getting married will be off as well"
my eyes lit up in excitement as I immediately agreed to the idea
you're probably confused on what's happening right? well the person infront of me is Aaron, my highschool enemy, we were never the type to get along if anything we're opposites but we never hated eachother, our family has a long history of rivalry so we didn't get along at first but after knowing eachother for a while we kinda became frenemies, we bicker a lot but wr care for eachother as well and for the situation I'm in.. well let's start from the very start aka. my university days
the day it all started was pretty normal to be honest, I attended my classes a usual and then I got into a fight so to blow off some steam I entered the gym room and started working out
a few minutes into it and the gym door creaked open, I didn't pay much heed to it before noticing the boy infront of me, curly black hair and blue eyes, he was wearing a black shirt with his sleeves rolled up and a pair of jeans he probably chose in a hurry, he was Aaron..
neither of us spoke for a while.. it was probably really awkward since we never really talked much, probably due to family rivalry we both just kind of stared into silence before I dropped my dumbbell and sat on the bench, deciding to speak first
"what are you doing here?"
"I was just passing by but heard some noises So I wanted to check it out"
"oh sorry about that, I was just.. blowing off some steam."
I said before chugging down a bit of water, expecting him to walk out since he walked in accidentally but to my surprise he just closed the door with his leg and walked in, pulling the chair infront of me swiftly and sitting on it before he put a white bag infront of me
"what's this?" I questioned with a frown
"just bought some extra food so.. I guess you can have it" he said while sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.. it was clear at some point that he was lying but I decided to ignore it for some unknown reason
I silently proceeded to open the bag to see some extra spicy ramen and a few of my favourite foods
"this..."
"I explained already and I'm not explaining again"
he quickly said before starting to walk out, in that instance I felt myself tugging his sleeve.. it was unplanned for..
he looked at me with a questioning frown
"sit."
"what?"
"sit down let's eat together"
I said while patting the space next to me as he thought for a while before finally sitting beside me
we both ate in silence not knowing what to say, it could've been really awkward but for some reason it wasn't instead it was just really peaceful with the sunlight escaping through the window and the birds chirping outside with a not so distant melody and chaos (probably Ms seira is taking music classes again) I thought to myself before looking beside me to see Aaron, his brown hair were shining in the sunlight while his freckles became much more visible (fuck.. I could probably count them... what the hell am I thinking?).. I mentally slapped myself before snapping out only to see Aaron looking at me with a questioning look.. (shit.. I probably look like a creep to him now) I hurriedly pointed at his lips, indicating that some of crumbs were left at the corner.. (movies really do help in these situations) Aaron tried to wipe the non-existent crumbs off his lips.. (it was honestly kinda cute).. (wtf am I thinking?) and I mentally slapped myself for the second time before we both finished eating as I began throwing away the paper bags. Aaron walked infront of me again before placing a grape juice can infront of me as I frowned again
"bought some extra.. you can have it.."
he muttered quietly before walking away through the door.. weird.. I thought to myself before picking up the can and drinking it. whatever he did help me a lot toda-- my thoughts were interrupted as I saw a sticky note beneath the can saying "don't skip meals next time you pighead 🐷🐷" wow.. just when I thought he could be nice... seriously pighead?? why does he love calling me that?? I dashed to the direction where he left before shouting "YOU'RE THE PIGHEAD POOPFACE" thankfully no-one was in the corridor, Aaron turned around and stuck out his tongue to me
"THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN GET??"
"SHUT UP ASSHOLE!!"
"IS THE LITTLE PIGGY MAD?"
his voice rung through the corridor before I ran behind him and in a span of few minutes we were running around the whole school cursing eachother
