I was running in between the crowdy road...high schoolers like me sprinting towards home...Rain was pouring ;the whole scenario was Moody
While I was Running backwards towards the school gate...
Wanting to reach out a particular someone...
Call me stupid if I was fantasising about him & I under the same umbrella
Cause my friend told me when I was in middle way that my crush didn't brought his umbrella today
Then what...I ran backwards in full speed...holding my umbrella tightly

I reached there where he was standing...with abnormal breath due to running
Then I took slow steps reaching him...he was still standing at the exit hallway waiting for rain to stop perhaps
I was smiling like a fool but just then I saw he wasn't alone
My smile dropped...I reached him there he was talking with a girl
Not any typical girl but the beauty of our high school
He looked at me with a smile...enough to melt my heart
He asked if I could lend him my umbrella...I nodded unable to deny him

It all happened just the opposite of what I thought
He said thanks...
Then left opening the umbrella getting roof from the rain...
Holding hands with that girl...while holding the umbrella from other one
I was looking at both of them with no emotions...
They left laughing & talking happily like love birds

So ironic I wanted to get poured in the rain but yet I couldn't
I walk home with some unknown glisten in my eyes...while the rain was actually pouring on me...
