"She was like a bright sunshine that dissipated the darkness around me...",I scribbled inside my diary with a slight smile on my lips as the gentle wind blew over my surroundings.
Leon Evanus sat amidst the beautiful lavender field holding a diary in which he scribbled.There was also a cottage nearby that stood at the end of lavender field.
"She was very different...the first time I saw her all I thought was how could someone smile so brightly...",Leon's hand paused for a moment as his eyes turned hazy for a second before returning to normal as a gentle smile made his way on his lips.
"She approached me first when she blocked my way in the college cafeteria...I was quite baffled at that time with confusion written on my face as I faced her..", Leon's hand flipped the diary's page as the ballpoint pen in his hand continued to write.
"She asked if I want to go out with her...",a laugh escaped from Leon's lips as his eyes turned misty while reminiscing that exact moment.
"I was shocked to the core as I stared at the beautiful girl infront of me looking at me with a smile...I thought at that moment why would she like a nerd like me?"
"With my silence the atmosphere quickly turned awkward...probably sensing my dilemma the girl infront of me showed a gentle smile as she handed a rose and asked to go out with me..",writing till here the pen trembled in Leon's hand as water stain appeared on the page.
Leon's tears fell drop by drop as his nose scrunched up in agony while his lips still carried the gentle smile from before but it looked quite twisted at that moment.With his hands trembling, Leon's current state was quite a difference from when he started writing the diary.
"I really regret saying those words at that time...",Leon pursed his lips as wrote the exact words that he said to the girl at that time.
'I'm sorry miss,I must decline.I appreciate your affection towards me but I decided to not pursue any relationship till I completed my graduation.'
"And that was the last time I saw her as she left with a pale face and bitter smile..after that I was on a leave because of state level championship as a candidate."
