As I was walking through the corridor, I saw a guy with an unfamiliar face and as friendly as I am, I gave him a warm smile, and to my surprise he just stared at me blankly.
So, I continued my walk towards my classroom to meet my classmates.
I was a fourth grader that time and it was our first meeting after the summer vacation.
The first thing I did was to look for a seat where I'd be comfortable, luckily, I found one.
I occupied that chair and prepared my things for our first class.
As I was getting myself ready, someone sat next to me. Hence, I turned my head and saw the same face I encountered earlier.
I was quite shocked because I never expected him to be a part of our class. And I also felt embarrassed and disappointed on what had happened earlier.
He kept on ignoring me which made me feel really bad. I didn't know why I should feel that way.
Maybe because I'm not used to that kind person or maybe I had a little crush on him.
I must admit that I was fascinated by his innocent face, alluring eyes, kissable lips, genuine smile and everything about him.
I can say that he can be my version of a perfect man, but that thought vanished into thin air when our teacher arrived.
So, I tried my best to give my attention to the teacher and listen to what she was saying but unfortunately, nothing came into my mind because it was preoccupied by something else... someone else.
