Henry and Olivia had been married for five years, and they always enjoyed going on road trips together. This time, they decided to explore a remote area known for its beautiful landscapes and quiet roads.
As they were driving, Henry suddenly pulled over and told Olivia to get out of the car. Olivia was confused and asked him why, but Henry just said he needed some time alone. Olivia objected, but Henry insisted, so she reluctantly got out of the car and watched as he drove away, leaving her in the middle of nowhere.
Nightfall came, and Olivia started to get worried. She tried calling Henry's phone, but it went straight to voicemail. Just as she was starting to panic, a police officer pulled up and asked if she was okay. Olivia explained the situation, and the officer looked concerned.
"Ma'am, do you know that this is a dangerous area? There have been reports of strange incidents and disappearances here," the officer said.
Olivia was now feeling scared and alone. She asked the officer to take her to the nearest town, but just as they were about to leave, Henry returned. Olivia was relieved but also angry.
"What the hell, Henry? Why did you leave me here?!" she demanded.
Henry apologized and said he needed some time to think. Olivia was still upset, but decided to head home.
When they arrived, Henry told Olivia he needed to check the car for something. Olivia went inside the house, but as soon as she turned on the TV, she saw a breaking news report. A dead body had been found on the dead-end road where they had gone for a walk earlier. Olivia's heart sank as she realized it was Henry.
She couldn't move or speak, and then she heard Henry's voice from the garage.
"Darling, could you pass me the tools, please?"
Olivia didn't know what to do. She was paralyzed with fear and confusion.
'Who or what is Henry now?'
She slowly approached the garage, her heart pounding in her chest. As she opened the door, she saw Henry, but he was different. His eyes were cold and empty, and he had a strange smile on his face.
