“Jin! Jin-hyung!”
Said 27-year old looked up from the book his beloved boyfriend gave him as a gift for his birthday last year. It was some special limited edition of a cookbook. Jin looked up to see Namjoon speeding over him, a playful and excited glint in his eyes, a dimpled-grin plastered on his face.
“Ah~ What is it, jagiya?” Jin cooed, placing his book down, after marking the page, on the coffee table near the couch. Namjoon flopped down next to him, making Jin jump up a little in shock, but still gave the younger a small smile.
“Oh, Jin! You wouldn’t believe this—” Namjoon pulled out his phone, unlocking it first, “—I found this cool song and an even cooler musical!” Jin leaned over when Namjoon showed him his phone, it was open on a song that had a familiar cover image—
“Namjoonie, is that from The Greatest Showman?” Namjoon shrieked in delight, attracting a few heads—Tae and Jungkook, who were playing video games on a shared bean bag—they exchanged questioning looks with Jin, who waved them off as if to say, “it’s nothing.”
“It is! Aigoo, Jin you know it too!” Namjoon’s leg bounced, unable to contain the childish energy that surge through his body. Jin gently grabbed the phone from Namjoon’s shaking hands, “Namjoon-ah, careful. You don’t want to break your phone again, do you?” The energy that emitted from Namjoon deflated a little, Jin faced him again, and was greeted by his cute boyfriend blushing.
Namjoon huffed, “Jin,” he dragged on his name, acting like a child being embarrassed by his mother on the first day of school. Jin chuckled, messing up Namjoon’s hair. In return, his boyfriend pouted.
“Jin! Stop it!”
Jin chuckled, removing his hand from the smooth and silky hair. From the corner of his eyes, Jin saw Tae and Jungkook roll their eyes at the couple’s exchange.
“Oh, fine. So, what about the musical are you so excited about, Joon?” Jin asked the dimpled man, who smiled wider. “Oh! I was about to ask you who’s your favourite couple, or uh ship in it.” Namjoon shrugged, his wide grin slipping. Jin opened his mouth, an answer already at the tip of his tongue.
But then his brain had other plans.
Jin was sure he looked like a fish when he suddenly closed his mouth, eyes widening at the brilliant idea his brain came up with. Namjoon cocked his head to the side, his mouth opened slightly as he stared at Jin in confusion.
Jin smirked. “My favourite couple? Why—” Jin scooted closer to Namjoon, slinging an arm around the leader’s shoulder, pulling him a bit closer to him. “My favourite is—” Namjoon was still slightly confused at Jin’s sudden change in position, but nevertheless opened his mouth a little wider as he anticipated his lover’s answer.
“And—kiss!” Someone yelled.
He was met with a pair of lips instead.
Namjoon tensed up, but melted afterwards, wrapping an arm around Jin’s waist, the other arm slung lazily over Jin’s broad shoulder, pulling them a bit closer.
Jin broke the kiss, resting his forehead against Namjoon.
“Our favourite couple is us.”
They kiss again, this time Namjoon was the one who started it.
“Get a room!”
“Ah! My pure eyes!”
Tae and Jungkook were met with pillows to their face, “wah! Don’t lie to us that you two want to kiss each other too!” Yelled Namjoon, after breaking the kiss and joining lips with Jin right after.
“Hyung!”
“I mean, he’s right…”
“Kim Taehyung! Just…Shut up and kiss me anyway.”
