BETRAYAL IN FRIENDSHIP
Friendship, once so pure, now tainted with deceit,
A betrayal that cuts deep, a wound hard to treat.
Promises broken, trust shattered like glass,
Leaving behind a void, a friendship that won't last.
We laughed, we cried, shared secrets untold,
But now it's clear, our bond has grown cold.
The whispers of betrayal echo in my mind,
Leaving me questioning, what did I not find?
But amidst the pain, I'll rise above the strife,
For true friends are rare, worth the fight for life.
I'll learn from this betrayal, grow stronger and wise,
And cherish the friends who stay by my side.
Remember, my self, not all friendships will last,
But those that endure are treasures unsurpassed.
Hold onto the ones who prove their loyalty true,
And let go of the ones who betray and pursue.
