It was a stormy night when I entered the haunted forest,
Searching for a beast with a reputation most horrible.
I thought myself a brave and worthy hunt,
But in the darkness of that moonlit night I was soon to be undone.
I heard a rustle in the bushes,
And my heart skipped a beat,
For I knew that it was a sound that spelled death,
A sound from the jaws of a beast so fierce and complete.
As I turned and saw the tiger's fiery eyes,
I knew that I was faced with my demise
Its claws and teeth gleamed in the silver light,
And its roar filled the air with a sound like thunder's might.
I begged for mercy and called for help,
But no one came to my aid,
For I was alone in the forest with a foe so dire,
And my only hope was my own courage, my own pride.
I tried to fight, but I was no match for the animal's ferocity,
And in a moment I knew that my days were very finite.
The tiger struck me down and took my life,
And on that night I did not reach the other side.
The spirits of the forest and the mountain cried,
For another soul had been taken from their side,
And it was then that I realized the folly of my ways,
And the price I paid for my own pride and ego's displays.
So my dear traveler, take heed and know the price,
Of hubris and pride and ego's blind deceits,
For the forest holds a power greater than any man,
And the tiger is its master, its bite the end of life, its roar a call for the end of a journey on the haunted path, its eyes full of a power that no mortal man can ever tame and on the moonlit night, no traveler is safe for the haunted forest has a power that no mortal can ever claim, and the only safe place to do, pray, NAMU-AMITA-BUL, as the end comes to claim you, with the tiger, a beast of the forest, stalking your every step, in the darkness of the haunted path.
The end.
