In the bustling city of the Hollow, there was a cafe called the "Moonshine". There lived Lisa Brooks, the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
I'd find myself visiting that place at every chance I could get. Her eyes sparkled like clear water, her hair was as dark as the night. She'd come everyday at 8am, serve the customers, and clock out at 5pm sharp.
I had met her a couple of months ago. That summer evening, she had greeted me with a bright smile and taken my order. I had been in a foul mood though. I wanted to mess around, and she happened to be the unfortunate target...

I had been reading for an exam. Lisa walked in with a smile. I didn't know her back then, and I was a jackass. When I saw her, the most ridiculous idea popped in my head. They said customers were always right. How far could I push her buttons?
Lisa: Good morning, sir! Would you like some coffee to start your day?
Noah: No.
Lisa: How about our breakfast special?
Noah: No.
Lisa: Maybe some orange juice then?
Noah: No.
Lisa: Alright, well, I'll just stand here until you change your mind.
Noah: No.
Lisa: *awkwardly waits*
Noah: No.
Lisa: *still waiting*
Noah: No.
Lisa: *starts tapping foot*
Noah: No.
Lisa: *clears throat loudly*
Noah: No.
Lisa: *pretends to leave, then quickly pops back in* Would you like some coffee now?
Noah: No. *Smiling*
Lisa: *exasperated* Well, then, get out!
Noah: *shuts his book and grins*
People had their limits after all. I packed my bag and left, satisfied with myself.
Who knew it would come back to bite me.
Now, eight months later, as I sat on my coffee table, she'd walk past me. Only when my friends showed up would she approach the table. "Hello," she'd smile beautifully. "What can I get you today?"
"Coffee" my friend would say. I'd just watch silenty, hoping she'd say those words. And she would, every single time. "Did you find Noah?"
"I'm afraid not," my friend would say, every single time. "The police is looking for him, they can't find his body."
I sighed. I wonder if she'll ever know I visit her every day.
