What does it mean to fall inlove with someone you can get-
....but who cares about the one who likes you?
We don't hold someone we are not supposed to do so. Whatever we like, that's what actually matters. To achive your own desire, It must reject of one's feeling.
Cruelty? No, It is not. You're doing this because you've seen the future you will have with that person. There is always a reason why all of this happened. No one has the guilt to hold on.
They have their freedom to live to the fullest extent with the one they genuinely love. The person they like for so long may not like them on who they are before but, people tend to forget every moments they have from the past that does not matter to the future but it was remembered by one.
That one who love and still have been LOVING the same person from the past has the reason of why they haven't let go. And what could be the reason for it, you asked? well we all know the answer for that...They see something to that person that no one can have or gain it.
Love is full of mysteries but the more we study about it, the more we learn and realize that LOVE work in different beings.
