"Tonight, you will be sold. Stand in line," I heard a voice shouting. I stood in a line like other young girls...
We are going to get sold today, since we have come of age. I heard monstrous wolf men will buy humans as slaves.
Our warden lady said that slaves should listen to the commands of their master. We should not disobey them and serve them well.
"They are here, head down everyone!" The warden lady told everyone and I looked at the ground. Many cars arrived and men started coming towards us.
They chose the slave they like. I can tell some men behaved so roughly with them as I heard slapping sounds and crying sounds of girls.
After sometime...
I saw shoes before me. I didn't raise my head. I can feel the stare. Is he going to buy me? I hope he won't be a monster and won't treat me badly...
My hope shattered at the moment when his hand went to the strap of my dress. He removed both the straps and my dress fell to the ground...
I still didn't raise my head even though I'm standing na~ked in front of him. The warden lady came near me.
"Do you like her, sir?" She questioned the man but he seems to be still thinking.
"Come, touch her and see! You would like her for sure," she said to that man.
I could feel his hand come to touch me. I closed my eyes in terror. But before his hand could touch, a coat covered my body from behind me and pulled me against him.
"I WILL BUY HER!" I heard a deep and rough voice.
The man before me backed away, "Alpha Ryder! It is a surprise to see you here. I never knew you would be interested in buying slaves."
Alpha Ryder? Is that the name of the man behind me.
"But, there are many pretty slaves. Why are you buying this slave?" The man in front asked Alpha Ryder.
"None of your business!" Alpha Ryder told coldly and the man in front shut his mouth and went to see the next slave.
Alpha Ryder gave the payment to the warden lady and she happily accepted it and went away.
I just stood there... He held my shoulder and turned me to face him. His hand then held my chin and lifted it.
My head was lifted up and I saw a man with dark eyes. I gulped.
"What's your name?" He asked me.
"Lia," I told him still maintaining eye contact with him.
"Lia, You should come with me to my pack. You will be with me from now on," He told me and I nodded.
Of course, I should be with him, since he bought me. But... Will he be good to me? Or will he torture me?
"You... Will you beat me if I did something wrong?" I asked him after gathering up all my courage.
His hand touched my cheek and held it in his hand.
"No. I won't," he told me with his eyes staring into mine.
Then his eyes went to my lips... He leaned close... His lips pressed against mine with gentleness...
My eyes widen... I don't know what to do... I felt his lips started moving against mine and I flinched at that. He noticed that and pulled away from me.
"You are my Mate,Lia! You will be the Luna of my pack!" He told me.
Though I didn't understand what is mate or Luna, I could see the sincerety in his eyes and that gave me hope that he will treat me well.
