Princess Isa Madrigal is destined to die in the hands of the young lord of the Dominggo clan, one of the mysterious and hidden clans of Kingdom Milanos. Her father's political marriage is one of the stupidest decisions a king might have made in history.
It's because no one has ever offered their daughter as a hostage bride in exchange for the hidden clans' power and influence. It is said that the hidden clans did not like to associate with the outside world and that only four of the ten clans survived the test of time.
As a result, marriages within the hidden clans are only between them, and no outsider may enter and become a bride or groom.
The Kingdom, however, is in an uproar when the King proposes a political marriage in exchange for wealth and power. The most surprising news is that the Dominggo clan, currently the most powerful hidden clan, has accepted the King's offer.
The wedding is scheduled for the spring of next year, and the groom is rumored to be a ruthless, cold, and arrogant bastard who only loves one thing — running away from home.
So the approaching wedding is delayed because the groom is nowhere to be found.
Princess Isa is not the type to wait for her lost groom. She sets out to find a replacement for her soon-to-be husband, but all she finds is another haughty jerk named Charles Kaizen Dominggo, a man whose hobby is to play with her feelings.
