⭐Life is full of inexplicable beauty and indescribably joy, but it also holds extremely difficult and emotionally draining things like grief, loss, rage, unfairness and inequality, hate, regret, sadness, misery, and so many more instances and feelings that make life hard to get through.
⭐Being alive means we're bound to feel alone, lose loved ones, grow old (hopefully) go through some crazy family dynamics, encounter immature behaviors—our own and other people's—and live with the consequences of our poor decisions.
⭐Life is hard because we are worried and fearful that we have not done well in our lives. We are concerned that we are not living up to our potential, living our dream, working in our passion, or planning for retirement. Life is hard because we want more and believe that we are already failing.
⭐Life is difficult. We can accept that or get aggravated, but we cannot change it. The mistake we make, with varying degrees of awareness, is that we believe life should be easy, and that we would be happier if it were. We torture ourselves when we conflate easy with good and difficult with bad.
