I swam oceans for those who wouldn't cross a bridge,
Putting their need first, my heart on a ridge.
But now I realise, it's time for a change, to those who will meet me halfway, not estranged.
With the depths of the sea, I searched so wide,
For souls who would reciprocate, stand by my side.
But as the waves crashed, I learned a though truth,
Not everyone's capable of matching my truth.
Yet I won't lose hope for there are bridges to find,
Connections that flow freely, hearts interwined.
I'll seek those who'll bridge the gap, without hesitation,
With love and support, a true foundation.
So let's swim together dear friend,
In a sea of possibility where bridges won't bend.
For we deserve those who'll cross over for us too,
In this journey let's find friendships that are true.
