One of my guy was good at mixing different drinks for 'manpower.' His was beyond measure. Each time he wanted to take a woman home for the evening or weekend, he would mix different herbs and pour some alcoholic drinks into it. Then, he would keep it overnight against the next day.
I told him, "Guy, you are destroying your future. This is not life. It is not how to prove your manhood."
He was like, "Victor Firdance, you no go understand. The only way she can scream my name is when I have charged myself well and prepare for her. I no fit work throughout the week and not find one beautiful babe to rest for the weekend."
No one told him not to carry a woman, but he should be careful around his health. Once health is in the picture, we should be careful about what we take into the body. Enjoyment no dey finish and you no fit run all the women.
I didn't give up on him, even when he spoke to me harshly to mind my business. Other guys I knew joined him in mixing herbs for a longer-lasting sexual experience.
At some point, it was as if I was losing the battle, since they became more in number. More guys kept taking the drinks in large quantities. When I could not cope with our friendship, I let go. You can take a horse to the river, but can't force it to drink water. After all, he was an adult and old enough to make his decision.
One evening, while resting from work, a strange number called me. I picked it up and it happened to be that my friend. He wanted to see me for an emergency. I made out time to see him, only to discover that he had been married for at least five years. When we parted ways, we never contacted each other again.
The shocking part of it was that he could not perform in the bedroom without the help of drugs. And that only lasted for two years. There was nowhere he had not been taken to, just to even see if he could have a child. They had exhausted their options at that point.
His wife was getting frustrated because she was completely healthy. As a result, there was tension between the husband and wife. They started fighting at some point. He was not even helping matters with the way he behaved towards her, making it look like she could not be patient with him.
I told him not to blame her. A woman that lived a pure life, waiting to enjoy herself in marriage, only for the man to come with a baggage of pain, will feel frustrated. Assuming the man's case was as a result of natural causes, it would be different. He destroyed his reproductive organs with concoctions.
It was my effort that kept the woman in the marriage. We started seeking a fresh medical attention until he was able to at least perform occasionally. Luckily for them, the wife took in. But that was all they could have so far.
If only that our young men will reduce the way they take all sort of concoctions for perfomance! Sadly, it is getting out of hand these days. You will hardly see a young man who does not smoke, or indulge in concoction to enhance sexual performance.
The point is,
Why destroy your life over something you can never get enough?
Why destroy your life just to prove a point to someone who wouldn't be there when your health fails tomorrow?
Why do you chose to completely damage yourself before women you won't even spend the rest of your life with?
Truth is, you won't drink concoctions for a woman you want to keep till eternity because you can't fire her as though she's a sex worker because you want her preserved as long as possible for your daily gains.
You drink concoctions and fire only those you know you won't end up with just because you want to prove a point that you are a manly man and possibly get value for your money eventually and annoyingly, you do it frequently.
That's not a good thing to do bro.
If you are reading this, consider your old age before getting high. There is no life in it. Some homes have scattered because the man lived a reckless life before marriage while they end up blaming the wife. Don't add to the number, Sir.
Women, I am coming for you.
