It was chilly December night. I was staying up late as my exams were approaching soon. I had just finished reading my textbook and checked the time.
"Oh, it's already 2am", I said to myself.
I began packing up my stuff and preparing myself to sleep.
"Ah!" I let out a relaxing sigh after landing myself in my bed.
Soon, my journey to dreamland began as my eyes shut automatically from the day's exhaustion.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Who the heck is banging the door at this hour?" I internally screamed as I checked my phone displaying 3am brightly on the screen.
Leaving the comfort of my bed and blanket, I pushed myself to get up to check the mad man banging my door.
As I step closer to the door, I heard my roomie who went on a date earlier but ended up staying with him.
"Mia, open the door" she anxiously said from the other side.
"Someone's stalking me" her words screaming fear and urgency.
As I touched the knob to open it, my phoned chimed with a message from my roomie.
"DON'T OPEN THE DOOR! IT'S NOT ME"
My eyes grew wide as I read the message. I started feeling scared. My fingers were trembling.
"Open the door please" the voice pleaded while banging the door.
My feets were numb. I couldn't understand whether to believe the voice which is of my roomie who needed my help or the text message which my roomie sent.
I gathered my corage and trembling brought myself to peek through the see through hole.
I saw a faceless entity with his head straight towards me through that hole. If it had eyes, it was staring straight at me or should I say looking me straight in the eyes.
I got goosebumps all over my body. I could feel sweat beads forming over my neck. I wanted to scream as I was freaked out but no sound was coming out of my body. I couldn't even move at all. It was like I was paralyzed.
I just stood there seeing the entity before my door.
I woke up to find myself at a room which I don't recognise. I looked around. The room was empty. The room had white paint. My eyes fell on a mirror covered by a cloth. Curious, I went towards it. I removed the cloth. My reflection was visible on the mirror. Just one thing was bothering me that it had no face.
