Aziel looked at Christopher in the eyes. Those eyes didn’t need any explanation. She was genuinely concerned especially seeing how he’s made a mess out of the apartment.
Christopher looked down scoffing, knowing he’s about to say something stupid. What was he supposed to do when he’s being subjected with that look that reads ‘What did you do this time?’. “Alright I’ll tell you. But first of all, will you stop glaring at me like that?”
Aziel backed down and slightly softened her look. Well, that’s good enough, I guess. A gaze not enough to burn a hole on your skin, but instead makes you feel uncomfortable. He still has to move on hence while clearing his throat, Christopher began to interlock his hands focusing on the soft white silhouette of the balcony door before uttering, “Sometimes you have someone you like that says they like you.” He frowns a little. “So I ended up telling them I like them too. -And that I was glad that we were friends.”
“Oh dear god” his friend groaned.
Christopher tried to continue ignoring her. It was a matter-of-fact that once he opens his mouth he can’t stop till he finishes his rant. Aziel like it more this way. At least it wasn’t breaking another furniture, and she preffered no acts of violence happening at all. So she kept herself open, actively listening.
Christopher kept on, “I said those exact words when I am literally in love with her. Boy it wasn’t easy. When I can’t justify the meaning behind their words and actions when it got me thinking maybe it’s all in my head. And what if they did ‘like me’ that way then at what cost?” He turned to Aziel with a bothered look. “What, Give me some more anxiety as I kept overthinking if they’re serious or not? I want to get rid of it, I don’t want to like someone deeply. But when I feel it, and I keep on feelin’ it, and when the heart bumps and I can’t turn away at all. At the end who was I kidding??? I’m so fucked.”
Christopher ruffled his hair aggrieved, waiting for Aziel to say something but he didn’t hear anything for a while. He was about to ask when a heavy fist attacked the top of his head.
It felt like a hammer hit his head making his body immediately jerk and he howls in pain. Feeling wronged he looked straight up to Aziel both bewildered and flabbergasted. But when he saw the look on her face he knew he has absolute no chance to complain.
“Was that person Vivi?”
“…I-I mean yeah… I’d like to know ho, how you know that… but why’d you have to hit me so hard for?”
“Seriously dude? You turned your apartment upside down for this? You’re such an idiot!” She exclaimed and emphasized so much so Christopher had even thought he was a complete idiot just now.
Christopher begins and slightly scooched away for safety, “Calm down, you’re saying things I can’t understand again…”
Aziel sighed visibly as in hard disappointment display and Christopher felt himself fold, “Your eyes are clear as fuck but how do you get so fcking blind when it comes to things as simple as this??“
An immediate dumb question comes in mind ultimately escaping his mouth, “Huh?”
“You really don’t get it do you?”
