Lily sat alone alone in the dark, smoky cave. She could hear the sounds of jubilation and celebration outside. The devil king had just returned from a successful raid on a nearby village, and he was celebrating with the other demons. Lily, though, was not included.
The wedding had been arranged months ago when Lily was just a peasant girl. The devil king had come to her village and asked for her hand In marriage. At first, Lily had refused. She had never met the devil king, and she did not want to marry him. But the villagers had forced her to accept, saying that the marriage was the best way to protect their homes and land.
Lily had escaped from the village just before the wedding, but the villagers had not given up. They tracked her down and caught her, bringing her back to the devil king's lair.
At first, Lily was petrified. The devil king was a terrifying figure, with his pale skin and black eyes. He smelled of brimstone and decay. But as the nights passed, Lily began to see something in the demon kin that she had not seen before.
He was lonely, she realized. He had no me to talk to, no one to share his thoughts or experiences with. The villagers were afraid of him, and his own demons would not talk to him.
Lily begged the devil to spare the villagers, to let them go. But the devil king was not a kind man. He was a conqueror and he wanted to rule all of the land. He ordered Lily to stay and make him a bridesman.
Lily was no angel but she was forced to do what the devil king told her to do. She spent hours at his side, tending to his needs and talking to him. They grew closer learning about each other and sharing their stories.
Slowly, but surely Lily began to see the good in the devil king. He was not all bad, she realized. He had his demons, just like she did. And he was lonely, just like she was.
One day, as the devil king was about to leave for another raid, Lily stopped him." please sir don't go. Let's stay here and be together forever".
The devil king was surprised, but he liked the idea. He had never thought about it before, but he had a feeling that he might like being with someone.
So they stayed in the cave, growing closer every day. They had each other's company now, and they no longer needed the outside world.
Years passed, and the devil king grew old He had many lands to conquer, but he had never had a company like Lily. He was grateful to have her by his side, and he knew he would be with her forever.
And so, the couple remained in the cave, never leaving each other's side. They grew old together, watching the world change around them. But they knew they had each other, and that was enough.
