A Love of Dog to Cat
There was a dog who loved a cat They lived together in a flat They shared their food and played all day They cuddled up and slept in hay
But one day, a tragedy struck Another dog, with evil luck Attacked the cat and killed her dead leaving the dog with grief and dread
The dog was angry and full of pain He swore to avenge his love’s bane He chased the killer dog around And fought him hard on the ground
He bit and scratched and tore his fur He made him bleed and cry and whir He did not stop until he won And made him pay for what he’d done
The dog was satisfied but sad He missed his cat and felt so bad He wished he could see her again And feel her warmth and love and zen
He kept her memory in his heart And hoped they’d never be apart He knew that someday they would meet And be together, oh so sweet.
