Being best friend with Ergon is what Jack never wanted . From the first day when Jack meet Ergon he was someone more than friend in Jack's eyes, but guess what when the feeling increased with the age but Jack never got the confidence to confess Ergon, which made him suffer for more than 16 years now .
Jack still remembers there first meeting, it was a rainy day when Jack was crying his hell out infront of his mother as he didn't get to visit the park. It became a habit to him visiting park in every Sunday but unfortunately it was raining that day so it was not possible for his mother to take him at the park instead she promised him to make his favorite chocolate cookie with choco chips . Jack didn't wanted to agree with the offer 1st but when he noticed that there is no more option he agreed and went to his room, till the cookies get ready he decided to watch rain from his balcony. After few minutes he saw a boy came crying ,he was all wet . He saw him as he sat beside a wall and started to cry loud and as it was raining hard there was nobody on the road . Jack ran to his mom and told about the boy then they both went out and convinced the boy to come in , he keept on saying 'no' till Jack's mom told that she can call her parents if he remembered their number. After that the boy came in and Jack's mom made him dry and gave him Jack's cloth , then the boy told his name was 'Ergon' ,Jack's mom made a call to his parents and asked them to take him from our home . On that day Jack shared his cookies and his toys which he never shared even to his cousins with King . Then it came like, King's mother is a childhood friend of Jack's mother . They also was going to same school and then they together got in higher secondary.
Now they got into same university. Jack is studying Veterinary Medicine where Ergon is studying Computer Science. Though they are in different departments they always come and go back together as they are sharing the same apartment. Getting in same university was not the choice of Ergon it's Jack who decided it and then they planned to share the same apartment and split up the money.
Ergon is a average student from first and Jack is more studious,who is often called to be a nerd. Though Ergon was not as rich as the popular boy in class but he has already dated all the popular girls. It's not at all hard for Ergon to make a girl fall for him where he has a emerald green attractive eyes , perfect black eye brows, has perfectly cut dark brown hair and most importantly a tall and built up body which we can't call fat nor thin.
Jack being 19 years old same age as Ergon have never dated anyone, it's not that he never got approached, he has a short and thin body, dark brown eyes, cuite puffy pink lips and black curly hair , many boys and girls of his or older than his age have asked for date but he rejected every single person cause the only person he loves is Ergon and he don't want to fool around with others.
Ergon have also asked Jack for his type so he could introduce him to the one who is his type and also told that he would never mind that whether it's a girl or boy . They never kept any secrets from each other except from Jack keeping the secret that he liked Ergon from years and he can't stand seeing him dating others. He also don't want to ruin their friendship by bring up this secret because he can stay unhappy and keep on breaking himself inside for his rest of the life but can't stay away from Ergon.
It was Sunday, Ergon was going for a date with a new girl, leaving home early in the morning and Jack is already alert about it . Jack is tried of seeing Ergon dating a new girl, bringing them home for a night and then after few days getting dumped by those girls and coming home fully drunk and wasted.
Watching the girl from window Jack can recognize her from Ergon's last date , he has already bought this girl at home once so, Jack got prepared for how to handle a drunk and wasted Ergon at night . There was no mistake , one of there friend brought Ergon home and explained how the girl dumped Ergon and how he got drunk. No matter is which state Jack really do love Ergon , he gave Ergon a dry bath and changed his cloth.
But there was something unusual this time, every time Ergon get drunk he throws tantrums and keeps bad mouthing everyone he hates but this time he was too quiet and he keept on staring Jack the whole time he took care of him . Suddenly Ergon got up and touched Jack's cheek with his both hands. Jack was not prepared for something like this so he pulled back and his cheeks got as red as a rose.
"You must really hate me" This was the first sentence Jack heard from Ergon as for today. "No not at all" Jack got back where he was sitting. "No I an serious Jack, do you like me , do you?" Jack can surely notice the serious mood in his voice.
Jack gave it a thought, no matter how hard he try one day the truth will come out , their relation will either break apart or get promoted. Either today or later one day his deepest secret will surely come out to Ergon so , why not today? . Ergon should know how much Jack suffered all this years and still he is suffering.
Jack finally spoke "So as you asked let me tell you the truth Ergon that to me you were never my best friend but something more complicated than that. The world to describe my feeling for you is not just 'Like' but it's 'Love' and if you sat where there I am sure or not then let me tell you all this 16 years I have made myself clear that I really love you Ergon, I am sorry" Jack broke into crying "I am really sorry Ergon".
The expression in Ergon's face was different that expected he was not shocked or angry his expression was a mix of happiness and a little bit of sadness. Ergon suddenly pulled Jack in a sweet and loving kiss it was filled with both passion and love, it was of tender and full of care . As soon as they broke the kiss Ergon spoke "You know what , dating girls was just an excuse to avoid my feelings for you , I thought it was not right, I thought much about others opinion but not I don't care about them, I don't care about what they say about us. Let me tell you Jack I fell for you long ago"
Jack was speechless, he just kept on crying it was cry of happiness. Ergon once more pulled Jack for a tight and tender hug "I love you Jack and your smile. When I get mad I see your smile to get control of myself and cool me down. And if I get to own this smile I promise to keep it safe for every. Will you give this guy a chance?". Jack replied with a broken voice "You are my first love. And I want you to be the one I spend my rest of the life with."
