Third person's POV

Another day in a café but this time it's in a rainy season. I gaze at the window and wonder.

" Ice cold coffee for....." the barista shouted. I grab the coffee and went back to my seat. I opened my laptop ,  bring out some papers and started thinking. What should my new book called? What should be its story , plot? Who are the characters?

I sip some coffee and set up my earphones, listen to soft music and gaze back to the window. Wondering how I can make my story unique from other authors. I may be a beginner , but I love to make stories, yet I never write them in websites. I am busy during school year, especially this college. But know I will focus in this, I want to accomplish this.

I went back at my laptop , opened the word yet i don't know how to start. I picked my notebook and pencil, started drawing. Looked around the café and looked for inspiration and started drawing.

While I was sketching a couple sat at the table at my back. They are too loud for me, yet as their conversation go , you can tell that they truly love each other.

" Hey Babe the usual , or you wanted to try new this time? " The guy said.

" Surprise me babe :) " She answered.

The guy went to the cashier and ordered. While the girl at my back take photos, at first I thought she is striking a post. But as I glance she is taking a photo of the guy. I went back sketching after I saw what she is taking. The rain started to pour harder, and my phone rang.

* PHONE RINGS *

{" Hello? " } from the other end.

{ " Hello? May I know who is this " } I asked.

{" Hey.....I wonder if you wanted to come in our reunion " } my friend asked.

{ " I don't know if I would be free , but I try to call you back if I can go " } I answered.

{ " Sure , see you soon " } my friend said and hang up.

As the phone end, I heard the guy from the back.

" Here try this babe, you will love it. I am sure you will love this , I swear " he happily said. The girl takes a sip and she is surprised.

" Ow..babe you know my favourites" she said. And they started to enjoy their food.

Aren't they sweet. I head back sketching again and sip my coffee. I turned my laptop off to save it's energy since I can think on what should I write. As I kept my laptop, a guy went near me.

" Excuse me , is this seat taken? " he asked.

" No, no " I said, and kept my other mess.

" Sorry for the mess " I said and I went back to sketching.

I gaze back at the window and saw another couple from the other side. It's like they are arguing. I went back sketching again, but I couldn't help my self to look what was the next scenario. I looked back at the window , and saw the guy stood up and left the girl crying.

Well isn't that a bad day for her. I wonder what happened to them. I grab my coffee and take another sip, while looking at the girl at the other side. As my coffee ran out, I threw it and pack my things. And booked an uber, since it's still raining. I waited inside while scrolling through my phone.

As I scroll I saw many couple in my feed. I think all of my friends have partners now, well good for them. When will mine come then? I gain gaze , and my phone suddenly vibrate. I checked my phone and it's my uber.  I picked my things and walked out the cafe.

While I was traveling I gaze in the window.  We pass by many café and fast food chain. Then the driver suddenly pulled over.

" What happened? " I asked in shock.

" Sorry miss, but a child suddenly passed by " the driver said.

I went out without bringing any umbrella. I checked if the child is ok, even the driver went out too to check.

I saw the child crying, but not hurted.

" Hey are you alright? " I asked. She keep crying. I hold her hand and bring her to the side walk.

" Are you lost? " I asked.But she still didn't answered.

" Sir can you look if someone is looking for a child? " I told the driver. The driver took off and searched around the plaza.

" Here use this " I said and gave my jacket to the little girl.

" What's your name? " I asked.

" Ann " she answered.

" How old are you? " I asked again.

" I-Im fi-five years old " she answered with shiver, and she suddenly sneeze.  I checked my pocket if I have cash.

" Wanna grab something hot? " I asked her.

We went to a near by café  and seat beside the windows, so the driver could see us.  I left here in the table and ordered and hot choco , and a java chip frappe for me.

" Here drink this hot choco " I offered.

" Thank you " she kindly said. As she drink , she had calm and smiled at me. I smiled back.

" Can I ask you something? " she asked.

" Sure what is it " I asked.

" Why do you drink cold drink, even its already cold " she asked.

" Oww..well I think I just love it's combination. I don't usually drink hot coffee or tea when I was a kid " I answered.

" Then what keeps you warm? " she asked.

" The mood of my surroundings " I answered.

" Wow , but aren't you gonna catch a cold ? " she asked.

" Yes I might catch a cold , but I rarely had that when I was child. My mother would always remind me and my sibling to take vitamins C to stay healthy. And I am thankful for that , because as you can see I am practically healthy.  " I answered.

" Wow " she said with amazement. " I will start drinking my vitamins then too " she happily said.

We chat more about. Until her mother came.

" My baby! " the mother shouted with fear.

" Mommy!! " Ann shouted, and run over her mother. I walked to them.

" Thank you! for helping my child. I didn't know that she ran " the mother explained.

" No worries , she seems a good girl " I said and smiled.

" Mommy , mommy . I will start drinking my vitamins to be like her " Ann said and pointed to me.

" That's my girl " her mother said happily and calmly.

" May I get your number, so I can repay you " the mother handed me the phone.

" No, it's nothing. Simple thank you is already enough " I said.

" Can I keep your jacket? " Ann asked shyly.

" Of course " I said happily.

" Thank you very much " Ann said and hugged me.

" Thank you " her mother said.

" Thank you too... " I said and left them.

I ride back to the uber , and travel. I wiped my self with the tissues I have. And tied my hair.

" Where here " the driver said.

" Thank you, how much would it be? " I asked.

" 200 pesos " he said.

" Okay , here please keep the change. " I said and gave the money.

" Thank you, Thank you " the driver happily said.

It seems he really needs a money. I went in the house.

" I'm here " I shouted.

The dogs came running and my mother...

" Welcome, what happened? You are soaking wet " she asked.

" Ah nothing much , I will run now to the shower " I said.

" Yeah yeah, dinner is ready so get down after " she said.

I kissed her in the cheek and run to the shower. After taking a shower , I went downstairs so we could eat.

" Late " my little brother said.

" Sorry " I simply said.

" Ok ok, Let's pray " my father said.

We prayed and started eating our dinner. After dinner my mother reminded us to take some vitamins.

" Especially you, you went out without bringing any umbrella " my mother said.

" Sorry , I thought it was in my bag " I said.

I washed the dishes , and sat at the couch. And turned the tv on , so I could watch netflix

" Let's watch some horror " my second lil brother said.

" Ok, search some " I said and handed him the remote.

" Wait! " my lil brother said.

" Why? " we asked.

" I'll just turn my pc off " he said and run upstairs.

This is our typical day.  At morning we have our business but at evening we watch movies together.

" Ready!! " my lil brother shouted while running.

We started watching. We concentrated watching the movie so we could understand what is happening. At the end of the movie, I stood and went upstairs.

I grab my laptop and turned it on. Don't know what to do with it. I opened my phone to check for notifications. Still yet they are only for my games. I turned my chrome and went to youtube. Look for some music to play ,while I play some mobile games.

While I was playing I noticed that two of my teammates are on mic. I turned my speaker on so I could hear them, if they are giving instructions to each other. But it seems they are just trash talking each other, so turned it off again. As the game was over, I stood and go to my balcony. Looked outside and enjoy the view.  I grab my laptop and sat at my balcony. Thinking what should my story be this time. I may not finished my last story, but I should think for a new story.  I listened to some music again , and still thinking. I opened an online shop account and scroll, I don't usually buy online I just loved to look for stuff.

Then time goes by and I noticed it's already 9:00 I should get ready for bed. I washed my face , and go to my skin routine and went to bed.

Third person's POV

* Alarms rang *

Ahhh...another day , another life. I stood up , fixed my bed and go to the shower to fixed my self. I wash my face and go with my skin care routine. I wet my hair and scrunch it, so my curls will be fixed. I looked at my cellphone and checked if there are notifications.

* Knocking!! *

" Come in " I said.

" Morning sis , wanna come? " my second lil brother said.

" Where are you going? " I asked.

" We will bike around the village park " my brother answered.

" Yeah yeah sure, I'll just change my clothing. " I answered.

" Ok will wait outside " he said.

I fixed myself and went downstairs.

" Be back for breakfast " my mother said as she saw me.

" Yes " I simply answered.

I grab my biked and went out.

" Faster sis, you lead the way " my lil brother said.

I lead the way and we went to the village's park. I seat at the bench and listen to music and enjoy my surrounding. I looked at my siblings enjoying their trip. I also started biking and looked around,  my surroundings are full of family and teenagers. Enjoying their morning with a healthy exercise. I bike around the village park , and make sure my brothers are at my sight always. After an hour past , I checked my phone.

It's already 7:30 am we need to get back home. I looked for my brothers.

" Mark , Luis time to go back " I said as soon I saw them.

We puddle fast so we can come home on time. After 15 mins, we are home and we have another 15 mins. to prepare our selfs for breakfast. I went upstairs changed my clothing and tied my hair. I ran downstairs to help mom set up the table. My two brothers also ran downstairs and sat. My father came down on time and sat also.

" Let's pray " my mother said as we both sat. After we pray , we started eating and enjoy the food.

After eating breakfast, me and Mark sit at the couch and looked for something to watch.

" Let's watch ' Wish Dragon ' " Mark said.

" Yeah sure " I answered.

Luis washed the dishes and came to the living room after. We watched together and got bored.

" Mom , Dad " Mark shouted.

" Yeah? " my father answered.

" Can we have a road trip? " Mark asked.

" Ahh...where do you want to go? " I asked.

" I don't know, maybe at our house in Bulacan? " Mark answered.

Yes we have a house in Bulacan, Malolos. But we also have one here in Manila. Actually it's my grandmothers house.

" Why not at Batangas? " Luis said.

" Well isn't it just the same? " I said.

" Like they are both far away from here? " I added.

" Come on, I'm bored here " Mark said.

 " Well ok, I will ask your mom first " my dad said.

After watching the movie , I went upstairs and looked for my ukelele. I started searching for songs and practiced it one by one. After that I opened my laptop and started thinking again on what should I right. I closed my eyes and listen to my surroundings so I can find peace. But cellphone rang.

{ " Hello " } I answered.

{ " Hey, why aren't you online. We have a friend gathering " } Patricia said.

{ Sorry , I will log in now " } I answered and opened my messenger in the laptop.

I entered the call and hang up on my phone.

{ " ......we miss you" } Joyce said.

{" Sorry I'm late I got lost with my schedule for today " } I explained

{ " No...it's cool. So what are you guys planning for this vacation? " } Marie asked.

{ " Well my family wanted to go to the province for a week " } Joyce answered.

{ " I think we will stay here at home " } Patricia answered.

{ " I think we will go to one of our house, not yet sure where. And I am thinking to write a new novel " } I answered.

{ " Me and my fam will also go to the province, not sure when " } Marie said.

{ " It seems each of us do have plans, especially you....why make a new novel? Are you finish with the last novel? " } Joyce said.

{ " Not yet finished, but I'm already at chapter 20. I just wanted to start a new novel. So the readers won't be bored when I didn't update quickly " } I answered.

{ " Ah what is your story about now? " } Marie asked.

{ " No clue yet " } I answered.

{ " What about summer love, like a girl and a boy met at summer and then the boy left the town and the girl waited till next summer she learned that the guy is already dating someone. She regrets not telling her feeling last summer. " } Joyce said.

{" Wow that's soooo deep. But I liked that. I might start a novel about that "} I answered.

{ " Or about some fictional story , like a vampire fell in love with a human. The twist would be the human is half vampire and human, and that blended creature was the lost princess or prince of the vampire kingdom " } Patricia said.

{ "Another thrilling story , but I am looking for something new like the plot has different scenarios " } I said.

{ " Wow you are really working hard this summer for that novel " } Marie said.

{ " Well yes, since high school I dreamed to be an author. But all of the stories I made failed to be popular " } I said.

{ "Don't worry all of that hard work will be paid off soon " } Joyce said.

{ " By the way, why won't we go to the mall " } Patricia said.

{ " For what ? " } I answered.

{" You know bonding. Come on guys, today is our free day, after all next week we all have different plans with our family " } Patricia explained.

{" I'm in " } I answered.

{ " Count me too " } Marie said.

{" I'll ask my mom first " } Joyce said.

While we are waiting for Joyce, I started packing my stuff. And didn't forget the umbrella. I left my laptop and went downstairs.

" Mom, me and my friends will see each other in the mall " I said.

" Ow..wait for me and your dad. We both are heading to the mall too. " She answered.

" Ok cool..I'll get ready then " I answered.

As I went back. Joyce also is already there.

{ " So what did your mother said ? " } Patricia asked.

{ " She said ok , but we shouldn't be come home late " } Joyce said.

{ " Ok..see you guys. I'll get ready. " } Marie said and left the video call.

{ " Me too...see you guys" } I answered and left.

After preparing myself, I went downstairs and wait for my mother and father.

" Sweety? " My father said and walk towards me.

" Yes? " I answered.

" You will drive the car, don't forget to bring your license " He said.

" Ok, should I start the car? " I asked.

" Yeah yeah " he simply said and gave me the keys.

I went out and start the car so the engine will be ready fro driving. As my mother went out , my father opened the gate and mother went in the car. I drive the car out the gate and waited for my father and siblings to hop in. As they hop in , I started to drive.

" How's the car " he asked.

" Cool...it's not hard to steer the wheel and the brakes work perfectly fine " I answered.

" Did you check the mirrors? " He asked.

" Yup , I make sure I can see through my side mirrors and rear mirror " I answered.

" That's good to hear " He said.

" Can I turn the music on " Luis said.

" Sure sure " Father answered.

We listen to the music until we arrived to the mall. My mother and sibling went down and me and my father parked the car. As I parked the car , we make sure it is lock before walking away.

We entered the mall and I told my parents that I will look for my friends. I texted them and looked for the location where they are. As I saw them , we ran to each other and hugged.

" I miss you guys " Marie said and hugged us.

" Miss you too " I answered.

" So..what should we do? " Joyce asked.

" Let's head to the garden. I heard there is a free concert " Patricia said.

" Really? " Joyce excitedly said.

They both ran while me and Marie walked together. We arrived the garden of the mall, and noticed there is a band singing. We can't hear each other with the noise..so we came closer.

" Who are they!? " Joyce asked.

" I think they are just a new band ! " Patricia said loudly.

" It's so crowded " Marie said.

I looked around the garden and saw many teenagers singing and enjoying the music.

"....Wanna leave? " Marie asked me.

" Sure! " I answered and we walked away the crowd.

Marie and I looked for a near by milktea shop .

" Hey text Patricia and Joyce to meet us here " I asked Marie.

She texted Patricia and Joyce. While I ordered some milktea for the four of us.

Joyce and Patricia arrived after the band was finished with their mini concert.

" Had fun? " I aksed.

" Yeah , and I think the vocalist is soo cute " Joyce said.

" It's fun and all, until a random guys stepped on my foot " Patricia said.

" WOW..boyss " Marie said.

" You both always encounter boys, while me and Marie never encountered " I said jokingly.

" Well both of you are too introvert " Joyce said.

" HAHAHAHA nooo..we are not introvert. We are ambivert " Marie said.

" Ambiverts? " Patricia asked.

" Yes , like extrovert and introvert at the same time " Marie explained.

" Yada...yada...what's new by the way. " I asked.

" Hmmm...ah did you know Bryan and Trisha break up ? " Joyce said.

" Really? " Patricia asked.

" Well..I saw their status in twitter. It seems they change it to single already " I added.

" What happened though, they are 4 years together already " Marie said.

" I know right, maybe something bad happen " Patricia said.

" We will never know the true story though " I said.

They talked more about the couples in our senior high school years. While I listen to them and then I suddenly got an idea on what should I write.

" Hey , I think I know what kind of novel should I write " I said.

" Really, give us the story line " They asked.

" What about a story of a third person's POV. Like us ,we are the third person of the stories we share. But in my story I will make the stories different. There will be no facts about the stories, since we always face different stories , but don't know what is the real story line. " I said excitedly.

" That would be interesting, after all there will be different scenarios and ending in each story you will write in that novel.  " Marie said.

"But how will you end it? " Joyce asked.

" I don't know yet, but I know now how will I start " I said.

After sharing stories with them, we enjoy our time in the arcade and watch a movie and went home. I prepared myself for bed time. But I opened my laptop first and write the outline of my story. Started sketching the book cover of it and sent to my email.  I typed some chapter and didn't realise it's already 1:00 am. I yawn , and closed my laptop and went to sleep.

Third Person's POV

As I woke up I prepared myself so I can focus on typing the novel I will be posting. After preparing I sat at my study table , turned my laptop on and went to microsoft word. But I don't know what would be the first story for my first chapter. So I went to chrome and opened my facebook, I scroll and watched some of my days of my friends. Until I saw one of my classmate poll.

What happened? Well I would answer B. Since it's really more painful than not being liked back with the person you like. Because those you call friends are people you spend time with , share secrets with and laugh with. So in short you gave your time to them. Unlike to the person you like , you can't spend time with him/her , laugh with him/her , share secrets with him/her. Unless both of you knew each other like a friend.

Alas...now I know what my first story will be. FRIEND OR ENEMIES.  I grab my earphones, and notebook so I can focus on the story that I will write.

Chapter 1: Friends or Enemies ( Part 1 )

Hannah's POV

Today I am getting ready for the mall. Me and my friends will go to the mall , have some bonding time and enjoy the place. I went downstairs and looked for my shoes.

" Where are you heading? " My mother asked.

" Me and my friends will head to the mall " I answered.

" Ok , don't get home late ok " My mother said and kissed me to the cheek .

" Yes, I will " I said and ran to the car park.

I started the car and texted my friends that I will pick them at the gate of their houses. I drove my car and pick each of my friend.

" OMG , why late? I've been waiting here for 15 mins. " Trisha said.

" Come on, I'm just two blocks away I'm not that slow " I said.

" Ok ok sorry, let's pick Janna and Angel " Trisha said.

We picked Janna and Angel and went out the village. We headed to the mall. I parked the car and we get down.

" Hey Hannah , what movie is trending today ? " Angel asked.

" Well , according to the poster in the mall it's " Train to Busan " " I answered.

" Owww...yah yah I heard that it is a great korean movie " Janna said.

" Then first destination...is CINEMA " Trisha said and led our way.

Me and Angel went in line for the tickets , while Janna and Trisha bought the snacks. As we got the ticket , we roam around the mall, since we still have 30 minutes before the movie starts.

" Hey Hannah, how was uncle? " Angel asked suddenly.

" His good, actually he has a new hobby " I answered.

" Really? What is it ? " Janna asked.

" He is learning to plant some veggies in our yard, so we can have fresh veggies with out going to supermarkets " I answered.

" Wow..thats brilliant. I will suggest that to my parents. " Angel said.

" Yeah , it also save money " Trisha said.

We went to the arcade and enjoy few games. We also went to the photo booth for picture.

" I forgot , I brought my instax with me " I said.

" Really, let's take photos " Angel said.

" Sure , solo first " I said. And take their picture one by one. Angel take my solo photo , and we asked a stranger to help us take a group photo.  We went to the cinema in time.  After the cinema , we had lunch in our favourite place, it's BON CHON.

We loved here , because this is where we spend our first bonding. We always eat here , but sometime we change also. We mostly went to SAMGYUPSAL to experience the korean bbq feels.

" Hannah, how was your friends by the way? " Trisha asked.

" Which one? " I answered.

" College friends " She answered.

" Oww...well we do chit chat always , especially in group chats. But I always seen their messages. Because I am not always aware with the topic. They always delete message after sending , that's why I don't also reply " I simply said.

" Wow, but are you having fun ? " Angel said.

" Well yeah , after all they also chat me. They include me with their jokes , and we always play online games together. I feel sorry for them sometimes, because I feel that I am the reason when they always loses the game. " I answered.

" Ok , seems they are good though. But if you have trouble , don't forget to talk to us. We are always here to listen to dramas of life HAHAHAH " Janna said.

" I know I know , you guys alway have my back " I answered.

The day went by and we head home. I drop them off one by one to make sure they get home safely. As I entered the house my mother approach me.

" Did you guys have fun ? " She asked and kiss me in the cheeks.

" Yep, we watched the new movie form korea " I answered.

" Really, did they get home safe. And did you say Hi to their parents " My mother asked.

" Yes I did say Hi to auntie and uncle , and I did drop them off through their gate " I answered.

" That's good to hear, by the way call your father and so we can have dinner " My mom told me.

I prepared myself for dinner and call my father from the garden. We sat and ate together.

Well that's a start for my first chapter. I hope my readers will enjoy this.  I will just take a nap and head with the next chapter of this story.
