‘This must be the end. Am I going to die like this? This is bad. Oh no I still got a world to save!!!’ “Help! Somebody please help me!” Jasper shouted as he fell in what he felt like an endless abyss. He couldn’t hold out any longer, no more he was tired.  

He didn’t know how he got trapped in this mess or how long he had been falling like this. Although this space is filled with air, for some reason it was hard for him to breathe and now since he had been falling like an almost year, he could breathe no more. He was going to die. It seems like he had failed. The only hope of the earth will perish with him. 

 “Sorry commander Oliver I had to let you down. Your soldiers have failed to carry out their mission” he slowly whispered as his consciousness started to fade away. Just then he lost all his hope he felt that he was dragged towards a strong force. ‘What was that? Why do I feel like I am sucked in to a large vacuum-cleaner? Wait, what a vacuum-cleaner?? No way am I going crazy before dying?’ With a ‘thud’ he fell into a solid platform. “Yes, finally the last fish was also rescued.” Jasper heard a mellow, crispy voice as he lost consciousness and passed out cold.   

How did this all start? Well to learn how this all began and how Jesper and his teammates got trapped in this mess we have to go a few hours back.

Location: Elite dormitory of UN Peacekeeping force Date: 14/07/3030   Time: 06:15 

It was like every normal Sunday, sunny and bright. People were mostly staying indoors since it was the weekend enjoying themselves. Only a few anti-gravity cars were on the road. Commander Oliver who worked as the commanding officer of the rookie training department of the Un peacekeeping force also known as blue helmets was cursing out silently as he had to handle some official matters even on his day off.  

“Well official or not it’s not good to work in an empty stomach.” as he has more time before reporting to duty, Commander Oliver decided to grab something to eat. “Good morning commander” as usual private Joe greeted the commander with his radiating smile. “Good morning Joe. Let’s grab something from KFC before we go” “yes commander”   

It has been hundreds of years, since the world has become a peaceful place. Earth no longer cares about wars and is focusing only about science and technological advancement. The UN peacekeeping force was the only armed force in the current Earth. As there was no need for an army in the current world, army officers were more and less idle.  

Commander Oliver was sitting in the cockpit while enjoying his breakfast looking at the screen in front of him. Suddenly the screen went blank and two silver capital A letters were shown in a dark blue background. “Commander there seemed to be something wrong with this. I can’t remove this. It seems like someone has hacked into our ship's system.” “Who would be so bored to hack into an anti-gravity car?” Oliver asked without much care. 

" Have you been well, Earthlings?” Suddenly a cold mechanical voice was heard. “Are you surprised, my dear Earthlings. No worries I don’t mean any harm hacking into every electronic device of the Earth. I just want to propose a deal” 

“What is going on? Who is cracking such a stupid joke? Try to track him back.” Oliver was annoyed. 

“Sir....” Joe’s voice was cut off from the same mechanical voice. “Please don’t bother to track my location, Earthlings. I tell you it is impossible to find out my location or identity but of cause, since I am generous let me tell you about myself. You can call me AA and as for my location it’s better you don’t know.” 

“Who’s this psychopath? What is he trying to do?” Oliver was pissed off. He was mercilessly cut off by the mechanical voice again.  

“Okay back to official business. As you all know by now every single electronic device on Earth including the thousands of satellites flying over the Earth are under my control. I’ll give you two options. One is to surrender to my sovereignty within a week. You all will be my slaves. I’ll be the ultimate leader of the whole world. But fear me not Earthlings, if you don't want to be my slaves you always got the second choice. That is to, I’ll make all the satellites around earth lose control and fall on Earth. Wouldn't you agree it will surely be a wonderful firework show. How exciting.” 

“Sir this is serious, it seems we can’t take back the control anytime sooner.”  

“Joe hurry back to the headquarters, this psychopath is beyond saving. We need to teach this brat some sense not to play with Blue Helmets”  

“Yes, commander” Thus they decided to ignore the still ongoing boastings and nonsense and hurry back to headquarters as soon as possible.

“General, we need to …" Commander Oliver barged into the meeting room in the headquarters.  

“Calm down soldier, this is not as simple as you see.” General said in a stern voice to the excited Commander. His face was serious like they were facing a real crisis. Commander Oliver was stunned for a moment, then managed to keep up his cool again. He saw still ongoing video on the screen of the meeting room.  

“You should hurry up and decide I can only wait for a week. After a week either you will be my slaves or I’ll destroy the Earth. You can perish together with your precious pride.    

Oh yeah if you think you can use your outer space army in space station to fight back you should just give up that brilliant idea, because all the outer space battalions are under my control and yeah there’s no way you can contact them too. I already broke the communication bridge.” They could hear a hysterical laugh from that mechanical voice. It felt really odd no matter what. 

“This is crazy, is he for real. Why is he trying to destroy the Earth?” A Colonel in the room said in a non believing tone.  

“You should just give up and surrender, there’s no way you can win against me. However, I personally like it if you don’t want to surrender. So, I can completely destroy you. You Earthlings deserve to die, you know for those inhuman researches you did. Oh, whatever it is same for me whether I destroy the world or make you my slaves and torture you. Ha ha ha …"  Again, the blood chilling laughter of the mechanical voice.  

By now all the experts in the Blue Helmet Army were trying their best to find this mysterious AA. However, all their efforts were in vain. Not even a single person could at least find just a trace of this intruder. The video was replaying again and again. Every single screen on Earth only displayed two letters “AA”.  

Within one hour all the world has turned upside down. Ordinary people were scared stiff. Nobody dares to leave their houses. The world leaders were also in panic. Nobody dares to think what will happen after a week. They felt that this threat was not just baffling but real. The whole world is in chaos. 

 The busiest place was the Blue Helmet headquarters. They tried their best to contact the spaceships in outer space, however they were unable to get into contact with anyone. An emergency meeting was held to identify the identity of this attacker AA.  

“This is absurd there were no researches found on aliens in near planets not even from closer galaxies like Galaxy Andromeda. So how the hell can there be an intelligent Alien who can pose a threat to our Earth.” A hot-blooded Colonel snapped.  

“Indeed, there’s no way someone can do such a sneak attack on us. Our units were always on watch. This is simply illogical. How did this AA hack into every single device on Earth without alerting us? All our soldiers are genius experts. I say this kind of hacking is simply impossible.” The young commander of information and communication division firmly said. 

“But now it has become possible, we are already under attack. Haven’t you all seen the satellite arrangement in the sky? They are ready to fall on Earth anytime. There’s no way we could stop that if we don’t take back our control and if we can't we won’t be able to stop the casualties no matter at what cost.” A senior Commander stated in a serious tone.  “However, this AA said something about inhuman research. Maybe young people are not aware but for the past two decades there was only one such research and that was done in the Planet Azure in the parallel solar system, Aquamarine. What happened there was confidential. However, we can assume that this person might be a survivor of that incident and wanted to take revenge” 

“General Wren, good news. We could build communication with a spaceship out space it’s called ‘Turquoise’ We are trying our best hope we will be able to hear from them soon.” A soldier interrupted the meeting.  

“Yes, I understand. Please keep trying.”  General Wren nodded his head. 

“Turquoise you said? That the old space ship used in the Rookie training department. Sorry to break your bubble but right now, the top seven students of the last semester are enjoying their hard-earned trip around Earth's orbit. They won’t be much use even if you contacted them. Commander Oliver stated. He knew how capable his students were. Although they were the best among his recent students, still they were not a match in fighting against someone as powerful as AA. Besides they didn’t have much experience to save a world.  

“As Commander Holland said, if this person is really from Planet Azure, he is really not an easy force to trifle with. Besides we don’t have any guarantee that our assumption is right, but we got no choice but to try our best hoping our assumption will be right and the cadets in Turquoise can successfully infiltrate Azure and disturb AA’s plan. So, gentlemen as you can see the chances of our success is only very little. We are clearly fighting a losing battle this time. But we cannot give up. Turquoise will be the only hope for Earth. If they fail, either we will have to surrender and be tortured endlessly or to watch satellites fall down and destroy our planet. Failing this mission means only one thing. The Earth will simply perish.” General Wren concluded.   

Everyone’s faces were grimaced. They were struck dumb by the reality. For the first time the strongest force on the Earth felt what it was like to be helpless and hopeless. The whole headquarters was like a dead place. Not even breathing of soldiers could be heard. 

….. 

“Contact cadets in Turquoise.” General Wren ordered. “Commander Oliver it’s better if you tell them this news. That way they will be at more ease” 

“Yes General.” Oliver took the microphone. “Cadet Jasper can you hear me?” 

“Commander Oliver? Is that you? Is everything alright?” They could hear Jasper’s surprised voice. 

“Son listen here. I am going to give you a special mission. This mission is very important. The Earth’s salvation depends on the success of the mission.” 

“Commander”  

“It’s okay Jasper. I know you can do this. That’s why I entrust this to you. You are my best student so believe in you and your comrades. You will definitely succeed. You six are the hope of the Earth.” Commander Oliver first consoled them and boosted their moral although his heart was in a mess.  

“First see this video. I think you are not aware of it yet.” He sent the AA’s video. 

“Commander this? Is this, this is for real?” 

“I am afraid it is. We suspect that this AA is from the planet Azure. So, we want you to try to infiltrate into Azure and try to subrogate their plan. I’ll send you the location of.... Jasper? Jasper, can you hear me? Matt what’s this noise?”  

“Sir we lose the contact with Turquoise” 

“Hurry, try again. Try to contact them again” General Wren ordered.

“Commander? Commander Oliver? Sir?” Jasper’s voice was desperate. He felt his heart sink into his heels. How could it be like this? Commander said they were the only hope of Earth and their mission will decide the fate of the Earth but now they couldn’t even contact the headquarters, yet alone complete the mission. 

A deadly silence was spread in the spaceship. Seven cadets in the Turquoise were in a shock. They were just the top students in the academy and were just enjoying a trip around the world, who would think that they will be given a mission to save the world without help of anyone. It was simply illogical and disastrous. 

“Jas what do we do now?” asked Levi, hugging his scared girlfriend, Edina. Although she managed to score the 7th place of military academy Edina was a scaredy cat by nature it’s just, she was better in planning than others which made her outshine. In any normal circumstance she would hide behind Levi who is the 5th.  

Liam was the 6th in the group. Both Levi and Liam were stronger than most of the cadets but they were all browns and no brains most of the time so they could only score much lower than others. Ryan was the strongest pilot and a true genius with any technical device. His girlfriend Ruri and her twin brother Kai have Asian descends and occupied forth and third places respectively. Jasper was the top student as expected. 

So, considering this team one can say they were not bad for a world saving superhero mission but, in reality, they were a bunch of inexperienced kids without any actual combat ability. Leading this kind of armatures to a interstellar battle and without any guidance from the experienced commanders was simply a suicide mission. 

Jasper knew this way better than anyone here. However, he got no choice. They had to do everything in their power to complete this mission or else the world would cease to exit. Everyone in the room knew their leader’s plan just by looking at his grim face. 

“What are you dilly dallying for? It’s not like we got any choice! There’s no use for us to live if the Earth perishes. So, let’s just do this. We can try our best to reach this Azure or whatever the planet called and stop AA. It doesn’t matter even if I fail. We tried at least.” Ruri said bluntly. 

“Yeah, it’s better than doing nothing and waiting for Earth to destroy. At least we can die as heroes' ' Kai approved his little sister’s idea. 

“Wherever you go I’ll be there, Sweetheart.” Liam winked.  

“Stop it that’s disgusting” Ryan retorted.  

“I was just telling your lines. Ryan” Liam rolled his eyes. 

“Really you guys can still play even in this type of situation.” Edina said in a disapproving voice.  

“That’s better that they are much relaxed.” Levi rubbed her head. “Jes we all agree to do our best to complete the mission. Let’s just do this. Only we can do this. This is our mission” 

 “That’s right guys. Let's fight till the end and if we win, we’ll live like heroes if we lose, we’ll die as heroes.” Jasper said with a confident smile. 

In the next second the top students were all so busy finding the coordinates of the parallel solar system Aquamarine. It was indeed not an easy task. According to the national database Aquamarine was a solar system used for various research purposes. Since the research done there was classified data, there was no way they could find an exact location of the place. However, they were not just some bunch of kids. They were after all top students. So, they barely managed to find out coordinates they needed to reach.  

It was indeed not easy to reach planet Azure. Given the speed of this 2nd generation, old spaceships no matter how fast they travel, it will nearly take three days to reach the Aquamarine solar system and another half a day to Azure planet. But they were tight on the clock; they got only one week to do everything and save the world. It was literally the mission impossible.  

“Agh. This is crazy. Why can’t this stupid airship move bit faster? It takes forever to reach Azure.” Ryan whined as he navigated the ship.  

“It’s okay. We still got time. So please fly safely.” Ruri consoled him. But in the next second her eyes were opened wide and she screamed. “Ahhhh......”  

“What?” Both Kai and Ryan asked at once. 

“We are going to die” Edina also cried. Her face was white with fear. Everyone stretched their head to see what made girls cry in alarm. There was a huge black hole to their right. It was mercilessly sucking everything near its mouth including the Turquoise. There was no chance to escape from that monstrous thing. It was indeed hopeless.  

“Agh” a large meteorite hit their ship and Liam fell, losing his balance. “It’s okay dude I got you.” Kai caught him before he hit his head.  

“Let me fly the ship.” Jasper took over the control of the ship while Ryan went and cuddled Ruri. They felt the fear of death. However, they were more or less calm than they thought. Jasper turned the ship and headed straight to the black hole. At the time it was the best option they got. Rather than getting struck by the meteoroids which were sucked in by the black hole. They just hugged each other and let fate decide their lives. 

Twisting, turning and swirling inside the black hole soon made everybody dizzy. But surprisingly before his consciousness fades away, Jasper had a very coherent thought that traveling through this black hole was totally different than how he had learned. This was more like traveling through an ocean current or something of that sort rather than a black hole. He was thinking why he felt this smooth going inside a black hole before he finally fainted just like his friends.

“ouch” Levi was the first one to wake up after their roller coaster ride through the black hole. Although he was not hurt, he felt like he had at least run a thousand kilometers at full speed. He slowly woke up, checked Edina in his arms and made sure both of them were safe. Then he slowly woke up his friends.  

“Ugh! Why am I this tired?” Kai asked, rubbing his shoulders. “Wait, are we still alive? I mean even after such a monstrous ride were safe and sound? That’s too good to be true you know!” 

Everyone was still coming to their senses. So, when they heard this, they were dumbfounded for a second or two. They were prepared to die, but then they were suddenly saved. It was natural that they were confused. Jasper was the first one to come into his senses and take control of the situation. After making sure everyone was fine except for small cuts and bumps here and there, he made everyone eat something in order to restore their energy. 

 After replenishing their empty stomachs, they felt much better. So, they decided to explore outside. By now they all had realized that they have landed on some kind of planet or something that sort. The instruments in the Turquoise showed that there was an atmosphere suitable for humans to breathe outside. It was really not an exaggeration to say that it was a miracle that their lives were saved after such a disaster and still they managed to land on a planet they could breathe without oxygen tanks.  

Jasper led the team out of Turquoise. “Woah. Look at this. The floor is made up of metal!” Liam exclaimed. Indeed, this planet was so special that it was made up of metal. “It’s titanium. The crust of this planet is made of titanium. Can you believe it?” Ruri checked the floor with her wrist watch.  

The floor was truly made up of metal. Although the atmosphere had oxygen and they could easily breathe, the whole world was barren, without a single patch of green.  

“Where on Earth are we?”  

“You mean where in space are we right, Levi?” Kai smiled. 

“Kai, be serious.” Ruri warned. 

“It’s my first-time hearing about a planet made up of metal. Why don’t we search more? We might find something useful” Jasper suggested. Then they all decided to explore more of this metal world. They all hope to find at least a single clue about life in this god forsaken place. They still got to find their way to Azure and save the Earth. 

They had walked almost a few kilometers away from Turquoise. They were tired but could not find anything useful. The whole world had only glittering silver metal. It was like they were lost in a sliver of a metallic world. 

“Hey can you hear that sound?”  suddenly Edina asked. 

“What sounds darling?” Levi held her hand. He knew she easily get scared. 

“That sound like some kind of metallic door?”  

“Ah! Yeah, I hear that too! What can it be?” Liam said.  

In the next second everybody heard. It was like the sound you hear when a metal automatic gate opens or so. When they were wondering the origin of that sound, the floor suddenly opened and they fell in. They felt that they were free falling in an endless abyss.

Location: Inside an aircraft in Planet Azure   Date: 16/07/3030   Time:11.35 

Jasper slowly regained after he felt like he had almost died for the second time today. He was indeed surprised that he narrowly escaped death twice in the row in a single day. First it was the roller coaster ride through the black hole and then the free fall through the endless abyss. Jasper thought he had tried enough ways to die for one day. He had no desire to try more.  

His eyelashes trembled. He opened his eyes slowly to see a zoomed beautiful face. “Oh! you are  finally awake. I almost thought it was too late when I gave you the serum just now” said the girl who was looming over him. It was not a lie if he said that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He tried to sit up.  

“Hey wait, be careful you almost died without oxygen just now” The girl helped him to sit down. “Ung. Do you know where my friends are?”  

“If you are asking about the humans who were with you, then they are fine all six of them were rescued in time and were given the serum. They will wake up anytime soon.”  

“Humans you said?” 

“Oh silly me. I didn’t introduce myself to you did I? Hello human, I am the A12 an AI in Planet Azure. You can call me Anise. That's the name given to me by my creators before they left.” 

“AI? No way you are not a human? And you said Azure? Where am I actually?”  

“ Don’t panic. You are on the Azure planet of Aquamarine solar system. You humans used this planet for  research for years. But I don’t know why they abounded here all of sudden.”  

“Abounded?” 

“Oh look who’s awake. Mr. Human your friends are here.” Anise said in a sweet voice. 

“We are alive. For the second time today, we were saved miraculously. What a luck!” Liam said as he opened his eyes. Others were too shocked to utter anything at all. 

“Okay since everyone is here let me introduce myself again. I am an abandoned AI by you humans  named A12. Well my master called me Anise though. And you are in the transport airship Raven of Azure planet. "Anise broke the awkward silent. 

“Azure planet?! Wow what an incredible luck we have. We got struck in a black hole and tada! You are at your destination.” Liam exclaimed again.  

“You came for Azure? Why do you come here?” Asked Anise. It was so rare for guests to come to Azure. Anise has been here for more than two decades since she was ‘born’. However, this was the first time she has seen humans come back here after they left Aure and let those failed test subjects die. 

“It’s a big story do you know anyone who’s powerful enough to control space and time here? Who has an ability to control technology as he wishes?” Aked Levi. 

“Levi, stop it we don’t know her well yet” Ruri protested.  

“Anisse, can you excuse us for a moment please?” Kai asked politely. 

“Sure, take your time.” With that she left. 

“I don’t feel good about anything that has happened recently” said Ruri. 

“Well, nothing happened so far is good except we barely came back from the door of hell twice in a row.” answered Levi. 

“No, I agree with Ruri too. Don’t you feel like we are trapped in someone's plans? Just like we are someone’s puppets. We are being played by someone.” 

“Why would anyone do that? I mean we are not that much important people no matter how you look at it” Edina asked. 

“I understand what you say. But don’t you feel like we are controlled by someone? Everything that happens is too coincidental to be true. Besides we can’t trust this AI girl too.” Ruri retorted. 

“However, if we are on the Azure planet, we have no choice but to believe her. She saved our life at least. What is important is the mission.” said Ryan. 

“What do you think Jas?” Asked Liam. 

“Indeed, I agree that things have been too strange since we started the journey. From the beginning it was strange that we were the only people they could contact after the attack. And then although we faced some disasters we end up coming here. Things are too good to be true. It’s almost like a trap. However, I think the wisest decision is to get help from Anise.” He paused. He hesitated for a while before starting again.  

“I was not going to tell you this before. But I guess now I have to. You all have a right to know about this matter as an involved party. You all know my family is involved in global security from centuries and we have produced many Generals. Even current General Wren is my little uncle. So, I kind of know about many inside information which are considered as global top secrets.” 

“Wow, so lucky. No wonder you became the top.” Liam exclaimed.  

“Liam can you keep your mouth shut at least in this kind of situation?” Kai knocked on his head.  

“Sorry it’s just I was surprised. Please carry on.” 

“Actually, I have read about planet Azure before. Well, it’s more like I accidently found out about it. Planet Azure is a place used for human related researches. They wanted to experiment on humans. To artificially produce geniuses with IQ more than 300. That means it’s more than an actual human can be. They were experimenting to produce super humans.” 

“What? Bloody hell” 

“Liam! Shuu...” everybody said in unison. 

“This super human project was led by few world-famous scientists as their personal project. Some people in the World government funded this project. They even build a separate world in a parallel solar system to carry out the project. However, it didn’t take much time to humanitarians to know about this inhuman project. They strongly objected to this and forced the government to stop this. So, the researchers couldn’t do much when they were forced to stop the project. They had to return everything here and leave. At the time they abandoned the project, they did not succeed, I heard. So, no super humans were actually born.” 

“Wait, are you going to tell me that what we are against is actually an superhuman?” asked Levi. 

“No, I don’t think so at most it can be an AI who developed independent thinking. Or some researcher who refused to abandon his research may be.” Jasper answered. I think it’s mostly the second option.” 

“It seems logical. Even if what we think is correct or not, the best option we have here is to get help from Anise. She is after all an AI created by humans. Besides she saved our lives.” Ryan said. 

“Yeah, I also think the same. We can get information and help from her. After all we got only limited time.” Jasper said in a serious tone. 

“Okay let’s do it that way. Either way we got nothing to lose” Kai smiled. 

So, they decided to get help from Anise. To their surprise Anise was very happy to help them. She became totally different from her previous cold personality. She has been so lonely living in this transport aircraft which they used to transport food and supplies for research two decades before. She really appreciated company. Soon she became a part of their gang. Two girls really like this sweet AI Anise, while Anise was almost attached to usually cold Jasper. 

“You really don’t have to worry. Anise saved you because Anise was lonely. Master have told Anise that Anise should help friends. You are now Anise’s friends, right?” Anise was glued to Jasper's hand.  

“Yes, we are your friend. So, Anise can you help us one more time please?” Ruri asked. 

“Anise love to help friends” 

“Anise what do you know about this planet?” 

“About planet Azure? Anise knows many things. This planet is a very secure place. Its crust is naturally made up of titanium and it has a special mechanism which opens the titanium crust due to tectonic movements every 60 minutes. That’s the only way to enter the planet. Interior of the planet is filled with a gas called Azurious. Although humans generally can’t breathe in here, with the help of the serum master produced they can breathe easily. The cities here were all built by master and his colleagues. Even AI like us were made by them to ease their research.” 

“So it’s like that huh? So, what happened after? You said they left.”  

“Yes, master and others left suddenly without taking anything. They even left us here. It was mostly around 20 human years before though. Anise being lonely for so long. All Anise's fellow AI broke one by one. Only AI left were the ones in Azurite tower. They don’t like Anise though.” 

“Anise do you know what happened to the test subjects of your master's research?” Asked Kai.  

“Oh, you mean tube babies. They must have all died. They were left alone without anyone to care. Poor things. Anise could not help.”  Anise said sadly. Although she was an AI she showed some human-like emotions more often. 

“Anise, are there any researchers left there? Someone who didn’t leave?” asked Levi hopefully.  

“Researchers?” Anise asked doubtfully.  

“Someone who’s more powerful. Someone who is not like an AI? Maybe someone like your master?” said Jasper patiently.  

“Ah! Not like an AI! You mean like the one in the Azurite tower?” 

“There’s someone like that? Tell us more about it.” Asked Ryan. 

“ um, there’s a person in the Azurite tower who controls all the AI who are not broken yet. Anise was strong so they could not touch Anise. Anise doesn’t know if that one is a human or not. But Anise knows that one is more powerful, even more than master.” 

“So? What else?” Liam was impatient.  

“There’s a huge tower called Azurite tower in the West of the planet. It was the place masters kept those tube babies  After masters left, the tower was controlled by someone else more powerful. That person took control of almost all the AI. The AI who didn’t follow him was killed. He called himself the spirit of Azure of Aquamarine or so. Anise was lucky to stay hidden from him. “ 

“ Spirit of Azure of Aquamarine? Azure of Aquamarine? Like AA, Azure of Aquamarine?” Asked Edina 

“Yeah, there’s two letter A in the tower” shouted Anise. 

“Seems like we solved the puzzle? How long will it take for us to go to that tower Anise?” asked Levi. 

“Um, about two human days.” 

“Take it easy guys. We need to analyse this first. If we are right, we are almost right as it seems, this AA must be in that tower. So, all we need to do is distract him and try to stop him destroying the Earth. However, there’s more possibility that this person would not listen to us. If so, we might need to fight him. And as Anise said he must have an army of AIs so it will not be easy for us to fight him. We need weapons to fight but unfortunately our  Turquoise was nowhere to find.” Jasper said calmly. 

“Weapons? Anise can give you weapons. Raven is a supply ship. We have tons of weapons and other supplies.” Anise smiled.  

“Well then what are we waiting for? Let’s go and destroy that crazy nut AA.” Liam shouted excitedly.  

“Well, but we need a plan to attack!” said Edina. 

“How can we propose a plan without knowing details about our enemy. Not like we can walk through the front door and knock!” Ruri said worriedly. 

Jasper showed a wicked smile, his cold face was devilishly handsome. “Actually that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We are going to walk in straight through the front door. This AA would never expect something like that. So we can take the advantage of the surprise attack and take control of the situation.”  

“Wow, Jasper is the best. Anise like Jasper the most” Anise was mesmerised by him. 

Soon under Jasper’s command they prepared the attack. Anise taught Ryan how to fly Raven. Everyone else was also busy with their own responsibilities. They flew over deserted buildings in Azure. Indeed Azure was more like a city of the dead. 

Jasper was a bit anxious. Although he knew that it’s normal for him to fight against bad guys he was a bit worried. He believed that the real bad guys were the ones who conducted the research here. AA was a result of their eccentric works. 

“What are you thinking about Jasper? Can Anise help you?” Anise glued to his arm as usual.  

“No you can’t Anise. It’s just I don’t really know whether this AA is the villain or the victim here. I know he’s trying to destroy the Earth but still...” 

“Everything is going to be okay. Anise knows that. Anise knows that Jasper will always do the right thing. Anise believes in Jasper.”

Location: Azurite tower in Planet Azure   Date: 18/07/3030   Time: 07:15  

Everyone feels like their hearts will jump out from their throat anytime sooner. They were that much excited as they stood in front of the Azurite tower with a dashing AA letter.  

“Listen everyone. We came this far to save our planet Earth. We are not some weak bunch of kids anymore. We can fight this till the end. Let’s end this and go home.” Jasper said in a confident tone. Although they knew in their hearts that they can easily die, all wanted to try being brave.  

“Charge.” Jasper took his weapon and ran forward. It seemed like AA knew about their plans. Tons of AI were in the battle mode as they broke in from the front door. 

However not a single one of them were ready to give up the fight. They fought back like vicious tigers. 

“AA must be on the top floor. Hurry up and get into the elevator.”  Anise cleared through AIs and found a pathway to the elevator. Jasper was closely behind her. Unfortunately others were still fighting with the AI army. 

“Jasper. You go up and stop that freak AA. We can hold on, on our own here. Don’t worry about us and do what you have to do.” Ryan shouted. 

“but….” 

“Anise take him there.” Kai ordered. 

Anise dragged Jasper to the elevator. They went all the way up to the top most level. As they stepped into the cabin on the top level, they found it was empty without anyone.  

“It’s strange. Why is there no one here.” Jasper was suspicious.  

“Look, this computer is unlocked. We can use it to find a way to stop AA.” Anise dragged him there.  

They both hurriedly went through the files in the computer. Soon Jasper found some data about the profiles of the test subjects used in the superhuman project. He went through the names and profiles. When he saw the last name he was frozen. On that there was a red seal saying that this was the only superhuman passed.  

“Anise Aquamarine. As in AA. It was you. From the beginning it has been you.” He mumbled.  

“Oh! You found out.” Anise’s sweet voice sounded. “yes it was me from the beginning.It was me who threatened Earth.It was me who made it only possible for you to contact Earth. It was also me who created the transportation black hole and dragged you here. I did everything. Ha ha ha….” She laughed hysterically.  

“But why?” 

“Do you know. When they abandoned their research they left all the human test subjects here to die. They left us here alone. Everyone of my fellow friends died one by one. They were only young children. The eldest one was 5 years old. They killed them. So they deserved to die.” 

“Then why us?” 

“Because Anise was lonely and Anise needed friends. Now Anise has friends and Anise will destroy the world.” She said in a sweet voice. 

“Anise that’s wrong. Not everyone deserves to die. Let’s go back to Earth and punish the bad guys. Stop destroying the Earth. There are innocent people there.” 

“But it’s too late. When I click this, the Earth will perish.” Anise smiled sweetly. 

“No stop it Anise.” Jasper hugged her tightly and dragged her away. They fought so hard to gain control. Anise was a strong opponent. When they were fighting they unknowingly activated some pre-organized program. 

“Self-destruction mode activated. The planet Azure will self-destruct in 30 seconds.” A mechanical voice sounded. 

“29 seconds” 

“28 seconds” 

“Is there a way to stop this? “Jasper asked. 

“No it’s too late. The planet will blow up on its own. Seems like we are going to die” Anise cuddled into Jasper’s arms. “I wanted to be with you a little more.” She smiled sweetly.
