It started a month ago. Something black surrounds the sky, which was visible through our ***** eyes. People panicked due to it. They were scared and scientists had nothing to say about it. They were not able to figure out what it was and how it originated. There were a bunch of such random questions which were out of the league in their minds. People started calling it 'black ash'. Scientists were thinking that it is some kind of 'worm hole' but no one knew what this thing was. Anyways ..........

"Come out of your stupid dream idiot".David said smacking my head.

"You are the most annoying brother in this entire world". I said frustrated.

"Hmm! Anyways we have to go to the supermarket to buy some stuff so get ready as soon as possible". He said with a grin on his face.

'The black ash' was getting bigger day by day, scientists assumed that its radius was about 1200km when it originated and now it's 2000km. It was not causing any harm to its surroundings.

*Way to supermarket*

We walked down the C - 21 Remess street to W-mart which was close to our house. We purchased some essential kinds of stuff from the supermarket. David grabbed some snacks, Potato chips, soda ramen and other groceries. I didn't have to worry about food when he is around I guess😛. I picked some laundry goods. We were standing at the 'Billing counter' where we saw 'black ash' was spinning as if it was alive. We were not able to think about what we should do at that time, our mind went blank. Everyone was in the mall panicked. The 'black ash' was very destructive. It smashed the houses, animals were terrified and trees were blown away within a fraction of a second. There was only chaos and destruction. My legs were frozen, I was not able to move. My brother grabbed my hand immediately and we started running in fear. Down the street, there were not many people around us because most of them were injured due to the 'devilish black ash'. I was not able to think anything at that moment. I and my brother ran as fast as we could. We thought nothing can subjugate this supernatural black thing. I realised that only one of us can be saved and remain alive, my eyes got teary.

''Why are you teary?'' He asked. I didn't utter a word, the only thought which was continuously hitting my mind was if I didn't leave his hand we 'both' will........

''We both gonna die here, idiot!" I screamed .''Leave me here and run!''

He was puzzled.

"Runaway!" I screamed again crying out

loudly and pushed him away. "I am sure, I lived a long life".

''No way, I cannot leave you here alone". These were the last words I heard from my brother. Darkness had surrounded me. It was quiet, calm and peaceful there. I wonder I was falling into an empty pit of darkness.

Something or someone grabbed me out of the darkness. Suddenly I realised that I was lying on the other side of the street. "Are you doing okay?" The boy with messy black hair asked.

Bear with the pain once I finish with this monster I will take you to the hospital " stay behind me I will protect you " he told with a serious tone in his voice. My legs were brutally injured, because of bleeding, I was feeling kinda dizzy. but the boy in front of .e appeared to be fearless, he then draws his sword from his back.

Within a blink of an eye, it was disintegrated into dust. "All it took was only one slash," he said to himself.

Next thing I could remember that I was lying on the hospital bed the black messy hair dude was sitting on the chair which is right next to the bed

I was trying to get up !' don't push yourself your legs are going through some severe damage' he said

Wh-ere is my brother? I asked him with a breaking voice.

He was wearing a Deku printed t-shirt with black jeans.

Deku printed t-shirt! He immediately replied he is in the next ward he is doing well his injuries are minor not cruel as yours.

I was relieved *sigh*

Ahhh! I forgot to report this to HQ .. duh........... He was wearing a black shirt with a white tie, and above that long black coat which up to his knees and he was wearing black pants quite a formal, I wonder who is he? He took out his phone from the left pocket of his coat. " The black ash aka subject 254 demons who possess one of the ancient crystal has been eliminated by ' the dark dagger'.

"Demon!" I said shocked.

"Yeah! Demon, you don't know about it ?"

"Woof! How could you know, these things are confidential and are not revealed to the citizens."

"Ohh shit! Did I just said that ?, Dammit! Sasha is gonna suspend me, off!". "It seems like my daily jo you know what I got suspended three times and this will be fourth." "I'm going to get demoted to rank B.Tch, it's so dumb!"...... Blah blah ..........

.............. "What's with this guy,,", I thought and was looking at him with a puzzled expression.

( *Snap* ) "This is so funny we were talking and we have not introduced ourselves."

" *Only you were talking chatterbox,*, " I thought.

What's yours?"

"It's a nice name". He said and winked atm .

" So, would you like to eat something," He asked.

My stomach was rumbling *grrrrr* and he heard it that was so embarrassing 😐

*1hr later* ....after filling food in our bellies .......

"Thank you very much Dominic for saving my life I m grateful." There was sweetness in my tone.

''Think nothing of it". He said with a smile on his face. He was so cheerful and joyful. ( *for a couple of seconds I stared at him, he suddenly looked at m our eyes met* ) I was blushing 😳 I felt as if butterflies were in my stomach. ( what's is this feeling? I had fallen for his 'ocean blue eyes 'I said to myself. )"Give your feelings rest because you barely even know the guy".I thought.

*Slamming of the door*

''Melly", David cried.

He walked towards me."Are you alright? Sis!"He said.

"I'm doing well ! you don't need to worry about me". I said with a smile on my face.

*Smile is the best way to deal with any kind of problem, that's what I learned from my mom*

Tears were falling from his eyes. "why you held your hand back? , Idiot!"

"Just promise me you will never do it again".

He said sobbing and rubbing his eyes to wipe tears away.

"I'm good brother, see!" "All thanks to Dominic aka 'dark dagger' if he were not there I would not be back in one piece".

*After one week*

I was on my way to recovery, doctors have allowed me to go home. "How are you feeling?" Dominic asked. "Not good as long as I'm on this f**king wheelchair."

*He laughed loudly*

His laugh was contagious.

Everyone was in rush as always, this kinda upsets me I don't know why duh! Is this kinda job everyone wants!
