“The world is so blurry...”

I tried to open my eyes, but the light is too bright. As I adjusted to the world I’m in, I thought it just a dream. I saw weird people with wings riding pegasus and dragons. There were lots of clouds and some weird people were flying with their wings. I realized I was on a floating island, but I wanted to get back to the real world. This seems too unreal to me, so I jumped off the floating island. As I begin to regret my decision, white wings erupted from my back. It hurted really bad and it feels I hit my back against titanium. At that point, I didn’t know what to do. As I picked up my senses, I used my instinct to fly back to the floating island, staggered.

“Hey!”

I heard someone behind me and I’m hoping he could give me answers.

“Umm, who are you and where am I? Where do these wings come from?”

“Whoa, that’s a lot of questions, but it’s normal for an undefined to ask them.”

“Wait, what do you mean by undefined?”

“Well, let me introduce myself first.”

“I’m Andrew, an undefined like you.”

“I know my way around this place and been here for 5 months”

“I was trusted to help undefines and to answer your questions, you died. Since you died, you’ll be transported here and no, you won’t remember a lot about how you died or your past life. There is an academy called “Angels and Demons” You’ll be at the academy for 10 years till you graduate and get a job here in the afterlife.”

“For your wings, it is actually really rare for you to get wings already at the start. Others usually get them after 5 hours of transporting to this world.”

“Oh yeah, what it means to be undefined is you are not determined if you are an angel or a demon yet. You’ll soon have to pick sides, I don’t know when though.

I am still a little confused, but why did I die? I suddenly remembered that I just got into a car crash while I was driving back to my parent’s home.

“Umm, hello? Are you there?”

“Oh, sorry. I was just wondering why I died, this world is kinda confusing to me.”

“Don’t worry, you’ll be able to pick things up as you go through your years at the academy.”

Andrew looks at a weird device and it has the number 45 displaying in red.

“Oh, shoot! We’ve spent too much time talking. We’re supposed to talk for a limit of 30 minutes and then you go to the academy with me.

“Well, I’m not sure if I’m ready, but let’s go..!”

“Ok, great! Flurry, get over here!”

A cute and fierce looking pegasus quickly arrived to where me and Andrew are.

“Hop on my back..?”

“Oh wait, I haven’t got your name yet.”

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to tell him my name.

“Uh, my name is Sophia.”

“Ok Sophia, hop on!”

I hopped on and I didn’t expect this, but the pegasus was so furry. As me and Andrew flew to the academy, I watched the sky filled with clouds. The breeze was so cooling and I wish this ride lasted a long time, but it had to come to an end.

“Here we are!”

“Wow...”

The academy looks beautiful and historical. As I walked to the entrance, I saw a statue of a person with angelic wings on its back with demon horns on its head.

“That statue represents peace and justice between angels and demons.”

I was surprised that Andrew noticed me staring at the statue. As I walked closer to the entrance, I saw a man and he had angelic wings on his back. I quickly assumed he was an angel.

“Hey Andrew, got another undefined with you?”

“Yup!”

He walked toward me and looked into my eyes.

“Hm, you’re special”

He let me go after saying that, but I was confuse on why he said I was “special.” The angelic man opened the door and I spotted stairs leading to another door. The angelic man guarded the entrance while me and Andrew started going up the stairs.

“That man was Gerald, he is a professor at this school and sometimes offers to guard the entrance of the academy.”

“Oh, wow.”

We got to the top of the stairs and Andrew opened the door.

“This is the academy, welcome Sophia!”

So sorry for abandoning this for months. I was busy and forgot about it. However, less than 5 people read it so that’s good. Also, there will be a little change to my style of writing.

We got to the top of the stairs and Andrew opened the door.

“This is the academy, welcome Sophia!”

Sophia POV: Wow, the academy looks so huge..and I can’t wait to explore it!

Andrew: We need to get your schedule from the principal. Follow me.

Sophia: Alright!

Sophia POV: We walked straight from the entrance and arrived at a big wooden door.

Andrew: Go in and get your schedule. I’ll be gone when you’re done, I have other things to do.

Sophia: Awe, I like your company, but it’s fine though although I’m a bit nervous.

Andrew: No need to be nervous! You can do it!

Sophia: Thanks!

Sophia POV: I took a deep breath and bravely opened the door to see a young man which seem like an angel sitting in a seat with a stack of papers on his desk. The principal’s office looked fancy like the school with gray walls. There was also a mini statue on his desk looking exactly like the 2 big ones at the entrance of the school.

Principal: Hello, what are you here for?

Sophia POV: His voice is deep and he looks so young.

Sophia: Hi, are you the principal?

Principal: Yes, I’m Mr. Wreath. I may look young, but I’ve been here for many years. Angels and demons barely age from when they arrive here.

Sophia: Oh, that’s nice to hear! I guess I will stay 16 forever?

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Yes, but enough chit-chat. What’s your name?

Sophia: Sophia (your last name)

*I can’t think of any last name lol

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Sophia (your last name)…

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Ah! I know you, you’re (your moms name)’s daughter right?

Sophia: Yeah, but how do you know me?

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Your mother is actually one of the most powerful beings here, a goddess.

Sophia: What?!

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Here is your schedule and dorm keycard. Get settled at the academy and classes start at 8:00 AM tomorrow.

Sophia: Alright, have a good day Mr. Wreath!

Principal (Mr. Wreath): You too!

Sophia POV: I opened the door and walked out of the room to see Andrew was not there. I mean, he was busy so I was kinda lonely. I looked at my keycard and it had my dorm number which was 505. I didn’t have anything else to do so why not go to my dorm. I didn’t know where the dorms was so I obviously had to ask someone. As I was looking for someone, I met Andrew again!

Sophia: Hey Andrew!

Andrew: Oh, hey Sophia! What do you need?

Sophia: I’m so lost! Where are the dorms?

Andrew: They’re at the left from here. Also, here is a map. You can get one if you ask the principal or if you’re new. I guess the principal forgot.

Andrew POV: The principal never forgets to do that, I wonder why?

Sophia: Thanks, are you alright? It seems like something is on your mind.

Andrew: O-Oh! It’s nothing, really. I’m probably stressed about a test I have to do tomorrow.

Sophia: Ok, if you say so. I’m going to go, goodbye!

Andrew: Bye Sophia!

Sophia POV: I followed the directions Andrew said to get to the dorms…and I found the dorms. Now to find my room. I opened the door to where the dorms are and saw lots of doors. There was also an elevator near the front. I checked all the rooms, but they’re all from 100-199. I think I should check the elevator. I clicked the button for the elevator to open and waited. The elevator opened and I scanned the buttons. 200..300…400…500! I pressed 500 and waited. Ding! The elevator door opened and I looked for my room. 501…502…503…504…505! Found it! I took out my keycard and put it near the scanner. Authorized. The door was unlocked and I enter the room. I saw a girl who looks like the same age as me with black hair and wings pouring wine.

Girl: Hello, are you my roommate?

Sophia: Yeah, I’m Sophia! Is wine allowed?

Girl: I’m Aleshka. Want some wine?

Sophia: No thanks…but can you answer my question?

Aleshka: My answer is no.

Sophia: Why do you have wine then?!

Aleshka: Do you expect everyone to be a little goody-two shoes…like you?

Sophia: Umm no.

Aleshka: Knew it. Well since I’m your roommate, we should me a lil’ nice to each other. Don’t you think?

Sophia: Yeah, of course.

Aleshka: Well, to get started. This academy sucks and I hate this place. Do your best to survive here.

Sophia: Survive?!

Aleshka: Yes…well let’s not worry about that. Let’s get you freshen up!

Sophia POV: Aleshka tosses you 3 outfits. Casual, emo, and formal.

*Choose your outfit and I will give you Aleshka’s reaction.

Casual

Aleshka: Not my style, but good choice! You rock girl!

Emo

Aleshka: I have one similar to this that I barely wear it, nice!

Formal

Aleshka: This one is kinda similar to the one I’m wearing! Maybe want to be twins?

Sophia: Thanks!

Aleshka: There is a welcome ceremony every single week and there is surprisingly one today! Everyone who is new to the academy is required to go to the ceremony and the others who has been to it can go to it if they want to.

Sophia: That’s great! Can you come with me?

Aleshka: Of course! I actually arrived 5 days ago.

Sophia: Thanks, at least I’m not alone.

\~Hours pass and it’s time for the ceremony\~

Aleshka: Sophia! It’s time for the ceremony! It’s best if you choose a good outfit for it!

Sophia: Alright, here we go again….

Aleshka POV: I should choose 3 formal outfits as it’s best for this occasion. Ah, these 3 are perfect! Now to throw it to Sophia. (After Aleshka throws it to Sophia) Wow, Sophia is a great catcher!

-If you chose to go with formal outfit…

Aleshka POV: Although Sophia wore a formal outfit, it’s best if she choose a new one since she wore it for a few hours. Who knows if it already got sweat! These 3 outfits are good! Now to throw it to Sophia. (After Aleshka throws it to Sophia) Wow, Sophia is a great catcher!

Aleshka: Wow, are you my twin or do we like the same things? Let’s rock that ceremony!

Aleshka: Let’s go!

Sophia POV: We open the door to the dorm and close it. Then we walked to the elevator and Aleshka pressed a button that said main/100 on the elevator. We went down and walked out of the dorms. Aleshka led the way and soon we arrived at the place of the ceremony!

Sophia: Wow! I didn’t know this place exists at the academy!

Aleshka: You should explore more, there’s a bunch of secrets at this academy. Wink! ;)

Sophia: Let’s go in before we’re late!

Aleshka: Yeah!

Sophia POV: I opened the door and I was kinda nervous, but I got Aleshka with me! Thank goodness she is new like me, she most likely would decline if she wasn’t! Me and Aleshka walked in and decided where to sit.

Aleshka: Sit in the back!

Sophia: How about the front or middle?

Aleshka: I heard they sometimes call on people!

Sophia: Oh, but between the middle and back. Please!

Aleshka: Fine, little goody-two shoes!

Sophia: Stop calling me that -_-

Aleshka: You are and I won’t stop!

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Hello everyone! Let’s begin the welcome ceremony.

Sophia POV: The principal began reviewing the rules and all that boring stuff. So I decided to whisper talk to Aleshka.

Sophia: Psst! Aleshka!

Aleshka: What?

Sophia: This is so boring, I wish someone interesting will happ-

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

Aleshka: OMG!

Principal (Mr. Wreath): Everyone calm down! It seems like a bunch of vultureanous entered our academy!

*I made up vultureanous by the way

SCREECH! CRASH!

Principal: Everyone evacuate the building! Lots of vultureanous has evaded this building and the windows are broken!

Aleshka: Let’s go!

Sophia POV: We ran and try not to fall through the crowd and reached the entrance while the principal and other staff takes care of the vultureanous. All of a sudden, a vultureanou took me by its claws and flew away from the building as I hear screams and others shouting………
