I am Stella and I'm 10 years old . Just from the age of 3 I only have one friend Lysa . The fact is that we know each other more better than ourselves. She was my classmate and deskmate too .

I was very sensitive and less talkative and of course I hate making new friends because I lack trusting anyone around me .

At that age others of my age were busy making new friends but I just thought that it was all nothing but only fakeness . From my sight of view all we are left at the end is only trust and love .

I was always a bright student and so does Lysa both academically and athletically . So all the expenses of my study was on the scholarship I gain ever year.

But irrespective of all this my parents hate me and avoid me , the only one who loved me the most was my father who died when I was only 5 , afterwards my mother married to another man and have two more kids , all of them are a family but I'm not a part of it because none of them like my presence .

Another one who love me was lieutenant grandpa and after dad's death I stayed with him . That's why I enjoy my company and like to be with myself or with Lysa or grandpa . Everything was just going perfect with me and her , devoid of what's going on in my so called family .

I was happy with what I have and I do love it too .

Years passed on nicely and finally me and Lysa completed our school at 17 . It was our school convocation and everyone's parents were there except mine but grandpa was there in behalf of my parents. I topped the school gaining 98% with a trophy .

It was always my dream to be a doctor and cure every needy for free . And for this the school authorities take responsibility for my future studies . Everything was good .

But what worst could more happen to me after my dad's death was losing Lysa .

And that's what happened !

After few months Lysa texted me that she had to meet me as soon as possible and it's urgent .

I was unaware of what she is going to tell so I instantly headed to our only place we generally see each other after school .

That was an old house of a lieutenant with whom I live from many years and call him grandpa just because he always treated me and Lysa as his granddaughters because he had a family who left him alone after her wife's death , they all headed abroad and never returned back . And so because he call us granddaughters we call him as grandpa and he was another one whom I love the most after my own father .

Even he wrote his will not for his own family but for us . Rather of the fact we were not his biological family but a family created by love.

After the day of convocation grandpa's posting was done in another city due to his old age , he was given with deskwork duties there . So he left but promised me that he will visit me twice a month or during his off days. I was sad that grandpa will leave but was happy about his promise.

At present I headed to see Lysa after her text . When I reached there I saw her crying and was sitting dull and sad . I moved quickly to ask her what happened to her ? Why was she crying ?

She suddenly hugged me that tight like I did to her when my dad died .

I was just wondering what happened to her .. what's the situation . Then she breaked a news in front of me that her family is migrating to s-city which was far away from this city and she is leaving tomorrow for s-city , and will join the high school there only .

After hearing this I was in shock and in the moment I came back to senses her parents were there to receive her and she left giving me again a goodbye hug .

For many days I stayed at grandpa's house because I was all alone there was only few people who love me , who like talking to me , but they do have to leave me due some circumstances. I cried almost for 2 days and finally decided that am not willing to live I want to die . There's no one in this world that I can say I have a family to permanently live with .

Now that I have decided to jump off the cliff I locked the doors and left a letter for grandpa for saying :

“ I will never be at this stage what I am today , you helped me in my worst days giving me shelter , food , and especially your's love . You taught me self-defense , discipline , patience , cooking , all the the things a girl should know and be taught in her life . You loved me like your own granddaughter .

But now that you broke your promise as it's almost 4 months you left but never visited me and now that Lysa too left for s-city I am all all alone .. depressed and unaware of what I will do next .

I even joined the best High school of Medical sciences you always wanted me to study in . Everyone there is selfish and rude . But you know me very well that I don't trust anyone easily and after all what happened to me during these years .

So I move to a conclusion that I am leaving all this .. this life . I am sorry grandpa .

I QUIT !! "

Running fastly towards the cliff . I reached there and for the final time I prayed and said:

“I love the people who loved me in this life and please god next time give a life in which I have permanent residents who will make me believe in love again ."

And I jumped with tears in my eyes

remembering everyone including dad , grandpa , Lysa , and even my mother , stepfather and their kids .

Am I dead or alive ?

Will destiny do what it wanted ?

I wake up in pain and saw that I have bandages all over one of my arm and a foot . I touched it and it was paining . I looked around , it looks like a old and wooden house , I looked to the window beside the bed I was lying , there were many trees and only trees around . What is this place I was thinking in mind ? All this was real !

I screamed loudly saying to god “ why the hell I'm alive , why did you saved me , you snatched everyone from me and now you are not letting me die . What do you want !! "

“God is not the one who saved you it was me , it's all my fault. I'm your culprit ." Saying a guy of almost my age came from the side room .

He stand in front of me , he is tall , handsome , fair , physically fit , and what he too had bandages on his head and shoulder .

I was quite , I have nothing left to say .

He looked patiently for my answer but still I was quite .

He was observing me and gave me a glass of water and sat on the chair placed in front of the bed I was sitting.

Afterwards he told that “ my plane was about to crash due to some mechanical issues and while landing from plane wearing a parachute i saw a girl falling on the ground and it was too high . So I hold you from falling and due to strong winds parachute imbalance and both of us fall on ground but at that moment it was not that high so both of us are alive . You was fainted from the time I hold you in air and you are now awake from last 2 days of that incident."

I was listening to him while holding the glass of water .

“ After falling I was awake after few minutes and I hold you and walked through, suddenly I saw a this house in these woods and laid you here . I bandaged both of us and was waiting for you to wake up " he finished . I saw myself briefly that I am wearing all the clothes I was when I jumped . And though that he must not have taken advantage of me .

Then I looked up and he was looking at me and now approaching me . I was frightened about what is going on next . He sat beside me on the bed . I was just chocked .

But with chocked voice I asked him “ wh..what are you doi..doing . Why did you saved me . What do you want . Stay away from me otherwise I will beat you if you dare to do anything to me ."

After hearing this he started smiling and laughed a bit .

I was just wondering what the hell is he thinking now, why is he smiling ?

What if he did something to me ?

Was there something in the water I drank ?

I was just thinking all these questions while still he was smiling at me.
