There's a small village found deep in the forest it is hidden too well but one day a pack of wolves attacked them.

The smell of blood are all over the place,every houses are burned down there are no sight of human left by the cruel wolves.

"Come on Teresa the baby is almost out"

A old woman's voice joyfully exclaimed.

The baby was born safe and sound,deep in the forest where this child is born a bright star appeared in the sky while the silence begun to break.

"Nyaa" her first cry made her father smile while bearing his sorrow after loosing his wife.

A loud sound of a wolf running towards there direction.

"Aunt take the Charlotte out of the forest now!"

"Be careful !"

He hugged his dead wife then took some rocks to defend them both.

"Here take this and give this to her!" he took his wife's necklace that is made of a mana stone then placed it over his child.

"Everyone! the Duchess of house Howard have requested a visit and maybe they'll visit here to adopt a child!"

"Oh my,we should make sure all the kids are prepared"

As always someone will come here and adopt a child but as time passed by no one even dared to lay an Eye to me..I feel disgusted with myself.

I asked.

"Of course,but promise me first that whatever happens you'll stay by my side and also stop crying A girl who kept crying is weak so smile"

"As expected from you sister!" she shouted while pulling her dress that got stuck in the bushes.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked.

"Ah,yush that was hard"

"Come on I'm 11 now and I also want to learn swordsmanship" she pouted.

"You brat how many times did I tell you to stop going around!! Her Grace is looking for you everywhere!" Sister Celine who came out of nowhere shouted from afar.

"And You! Charlotte what are you doing here!? mother instructed you to learn about the Palace Etiquette!" Oh here we go again.

"Sigh,lets go Celestina" I dropped my sword as I was expecting Jezrael to pick it up." Geez,I better go and rest now stop looking too gloomy" I tapped his shoulder but he shrugged.

"Hey are you sulking?" I chuckled.

"Just go I'll clean up this mess later " he said then suddenly flushed a smile on his face.

That was unexpected he never smiled to me this happy before.

Celestina grabbed my hands pulling it towards Celine who looked like a mother scolding her daughters.

"Is her Grace still upset?" I asked while we're walking towards the West wing were all the Duke and Duchess' daughter reside.

Celestina held the tip of my clothes and hid behind me when suddenly the Duke showed up not looking so good.

He looks grumpy for some reason.

" I'm going back now,and Charlotte make sure you're prepared for tomorrow" he clearly changed the subject but what's with tomorrow?

Everyone keeps making me learn the Palace Etiquette its so frustrating.

"Sister Celine I'm tired,and I need to rest" I mumbled while pinching the bridge of my nose.
