It was raining pretty hard that day ,Aria ran through the streets , tears gushing down from her eyes like streams , her heart aches with pain ,chest felt deprived of oxygen.

" How could she do this to me , is this all I meant to her after our 10 years of friendship ?" she cried to herself

* 30 minutes before.

Aria went to her friend cindy's house to wish her for her birthday . Aria was about to ring the bell ,just then she stopped to find the door was open . At first she was afraid what if there is a thief , but she was afraid what if Cindy is alone in the house ,so she tried to peek ,to find no one in sight .

She sneakily entered .Seeing *clothes fallen on floor. She understood that Cindy has a guy over and was about to leave ,just then she saw the t-shirt she gave her boyfriend Eliot ,fallen on floor . She stood shock . "There are many people in this world who have similar clothes ,it's just coincidence",she tried to console herself .

just then she heard noises from inside Cindy's room .

*moans * moans * moans .

*laughs *laughs *laughs

"I'm not doubting El ,but I just want to confirm" is thought to herself , swallow her saliva*gulp.

"who is better me or her? " asked Cindy

"Of course you babe ,tht little** won't even let me kiss her" said Eliot

*Hearing his voice Aria couldn't hold her tears

"Really ?,What the hell is she being all pure for ?","but here I'm all for you , and you being her just made my birthday 10times better" said Cindy

Aria decided to open the door , taking small ,shaky steps she made it to the bedroom , just when she opened the door Eliot was shocked but Cindy was not a bit shaken as if she had already calculated , " oh , we've got guests " Cindy said .

Eliot did not open his mouth , " why? ,was I only worth this much to you both ?"

"what a great day ,seeing my best friend and my boyfriend fucking together " said Aria

"O please shut up " Said Cindy agitatedly

"when the fu*k have you ever seen me as your best friend ,you just know to show off , even the fact you had a boyfriend ,you always rubbed it in my face " said Cindy

"yea ,I guess sharing feeling with friends is not a rubbing in face " said Aria

"So why not you have this trashy boy friend of mine ,you both can do what the fu*k you like "

"Cindy ,let's end this friendship of compromise from today , even if I ever meet you on the streets ,Id rather choose to spit on the street than to glance at you ,fu*kin goodbye " stated Aria .

*Aria runs out from Cindy's house

"Uugh!! Why? , is wanting to tell your feeling to your friend so wrong ? , Why an I so unfortunate? , Why Can't I have atleast one good thing in life?"

"I only wanted to wait until we get to university ,but he couldn't wait until then ,was my body the only thing he cared ?" "Ha Haaa phuuu Haaa I feel ridiculed by my own faith"

*Wiping face while Running

Aria runs into a lady

Both crashed into each other and books from Aria's bag fell down . Aria started gathering the books * wiping her tears ,"Rough day huh?" the lady asked Aria while she helped her pack her books

Just then the lady saw Aria's diary in which she drew samples and designs of clothing " Are these yours ?" asked the lady " yea ,they are" answered aria anticipatingly

" Wanna try your luck ,little lad " said the lady

Aria stood there confused and dumbfolded ,she thought that even the lady was trying to humiliate her for her wierd drawings .

"I know these are not very satisfying , it's just a hobby of mine to draw designs and ..." said Aria

"You must be terribly mistaking my words , what I'm trying to say is ,your art is worth awarding " interrupted the lady

*Aria stared at her

'She doesn't look like a bad woman ,but why is she being so attentive of me?'

She seemed like a young ,mature lady in her late twenties .

She was attired in brands from top-to-toe , Cherry red GUCCI jumpsuit with black CARLTON-LONDON pumps , holding a black umbrella with red roses printed on it . She was an epitome of a high class lady .

"I'm a fashion designer , My name is Sherlyn Shane . You can call me Sherry " said the lady .

*Aria stood there surprised

Earlier because of the rain showers and umbrella ,she couldn't she her face clearly ,but now ,

The muse she always dreamt like to be was right in front of her ,tears of happiness started flowing from her eyes

"Do I look so scary ,that I made you cry?" scoffed sherry

"No ,it's not that ,I'm just so happy to meet you that I couldn't contain my tears . I've always been a fan of your designs " said Aria

*Sherry smiled at Aria

"I don't know what unfortunate thing made you cry today ,but I have a offer for you if you please" said sherry

"Yes? " asked sherry

" The company I'm currently collaborating with here in Boston is providing scholarship for young art talents ,if you can win the competition ,then you will have a free scholarship for studying abroad and even your expenses will be handled by the company . And also after your graduation we can work together " said sherry

Listening to the last sentence ,that She will get to work with Sherry made Aria jump with pleasure

"Can I really get to work with you ?" asked Aria

"Yes ,my dear ,but only if u surpass the test for scholarship ,only two personels will be provided this scholarship " said Sherry

*Aria said in a determined voice

"I'll work hard ,no matter what "

"Yea , that should be the confidence ,I'll be rooting for you "

"Then now I need to leave , chatting with you I forget the sense of time " said sherry

Sherry turned to the last page of the diary and wrote down her contact number and office address

"The Competition is on the 17th if this month ,that is the day after tomorrow .Prepare yourself well ,it's not a very tough test ,it's only based on your skills and understanding of designing . So you don't have to worry much " explained Sherry .

"Yes ,I will try my best to prove my skills " said Sherry in a determined tone

" I truly love your attitude ,Come meet me tomorrow at my office ,for which I gave you the address right now , be there by 5 pm ,Ok ?"

said sherry

*Aria nodded

"Then see you tomorrow " said sherry while entering her car parked by the street

As Aria was seeing off Sherry , thought started running wild in her brain

'Is it a mere coincidence , or was it my fate to meet sherry today , to think if I had not broken up with Eliot , would have I agreed to study abroad , *clapped her face with both hands ,

enough with wierd thoughts ,most importantly I need to work hard '

*Aria grabbed all her belongings and started making her way home

The dark clouds that hid the sun had vanished to nowhere , the sun was shining bright in the sky with a rainbow that enhanced it's beauty .

Everything felt magical , as if it was all in a fairly tale ,where a fairy godmother comes to the rescue of Cinderella .

*Soon Aria reached her home ,

Her mother was preparing meals in the kitchen and father was off to work

Though Aria did not belong to a well-off family , but both her parents loved her and strived together to provide all they could for their daughter .

Thinking that sometimes her parents would give up on their own desires so that Aria could fulfill her own , this made Aria feel proud of her mother and father , She felt very loved.

' It doesn't matter if two selfish people from my life disappear , I still have my parents,who always love me ' Aria thought to herself .

*Aria hugged her Mom from behind

"You naughty girl ,where are you coming from ?" said Mom

"I love you sooo much Mom " said Aria trying to be cute

*Mom patted her head

"Did something happen today ,wanna share ?"

said Mom

*Aria told her Mom about her meeting with Sherry and about the Competition

"Listen Ari , Opportunities are like deserts ,you must enjoy it while there is still time ,Well you can still have another deserts if the first is gone but ,not necessary that the latter one will provide you same pleasure , It sure is a once is lifetime opportunity but what matters is your own decisions , Me and your Dad will always support you , So always keep your footings forward " said Mom encouraging Aria

Hearing to her mother's words Aria couldn't contain her excitement and jumped to hug her mom . After the darkest night ,there is always a bright morning , that's what it felt in that moment .

*Later aria walked in her room

As she stepped inside her room , looking at the things she got as gifts from Eliot and Cindy made her blood boil

She quickly ran out and brought in a big cardboard box and tugged all the thing , cards ,clothes , stationery and also the friendship bands in it . The box was almost so full that it won't even close .

After that Aria picked the box and threw it near the telephone poll outside her home ,where everyday a truck comes to collect trash .

"Trash should be trashed !! ,keeping it with you can make you sick , hmm " Aria scoffed

Then she walked in her room , it felt so spacy and free that it felt her room was renovated . She walked towards her vanity .

*Looking at her in the mirror ,

Aria smirked " It's a new start baby !! , Let nothing stop you !"

Aria returned to her room and sat on her study table , drawing design

*looks at the wall clock

"Damn ,it's almost 12am . I should stop for the day "

*Aria goes to bed

"God , please help me in my life and let me have what I deserve "

*lights shut

Next morning Aria wakes up early and starts working on practice skills ,She tries to make a small dress for a doll , She also tries to decorate her old shoes and a Mug by sticking studs and rhinestones and then clicks picture of it in her phone

* Later in Evening

Aria sets out to meet with Sherry at her designated office address

All the way , Aria only kept thinking

"Will I be able to perform well ? , Won't there beyond of other participants who can surpass me ? , What if all my hope goes in vain? "

Time went by pretty fast and in a matter of seconds ,Aria of already standing in the lobby of the office building

*Reception

" I'm here to meet Miss Sherlyn Shane . Can I meet her " asked Aria

"Do you have an appointment? " asked the receptionist

"No ,but Miss Sherry asked me to come meet her " Aria explained

But the receptionist refused to let Aria meet sherry .

Aria felt dejected , she felt scared .

"What if Sherry forgot abt me? ,what should I do now ? "

Tears started to gather up

*Chest felt heavy

Just then she remembered that sherry gave her a contact number

As a last try she decided to give a call on the number

She quickly removed her diary and started dialing

*Ringing......

"Hello .." *sighhhh... hearing sherry's voice , Aria let a big sigh

"Hello ,it's me Aria ,we met yesterday " said Aria in a huffing tone

"Yes , Aria I've been waiting for you for soo long but you didn't come "

"I'm in the lobby , but the receptionist won't let me up " said Aria

"But I clearly told her that I'm expecting guests today , it's alright , don't worry . I'll be there in 5 mins" said Sherry

*After few minutes

Sherry came rushing down ,as soon as she came she gave a big , long firing to the receptionist

Then she hurriedly came to me

*Apologizing

"I should've known , something is wrong , I apologize on her behalf " said Sherry

Aria consoled her " Its not her fault , she was just doing her job , I was in the wrong , I

should've informed you before coming "

"Forget about it ,then shall we go up" said sherry

"Yes , please" said Aria

* Sherry's office

Sherry started explaining to Aria about the Competition

" Test is not anything hard ,nor does it require

any special study , only your skills matter "

"And the most important scoring point is being confident in your opinion , if u shudder , it's gives of a sense that you are unsure about your task . Did you get my point ? ........"

*After the session

It was already late in the evening so Sherry offered Aria for Dinner ,

At first Aria was reluctant but then Sherry insisted ,she couldn't refuse .

Aria informed her parents about her eating out

then Sherry and Aria ,made their way to the restaurant

*While having meal

"when I was your age , I was also nervous , reluctant to make important decisions , then I finally ,took step and went abroad ......................... ,

On my graduation day , A famous designer asked me to Collaborate with him ,after working under him for many years ,here I'm today " said

Sherry scoffing

" It's a very long journey , it's also explains your determination to your profession. "

praised Aria

"I hope you also give me reason to be proud of you, After all there is no greater joy then passing on the legacy to others , I'll be rooting for you " said sherry

*After their meal

Sherry and. Aria made their way to the car ,as sherry offered to drop Aria home

*On Reaching Aria's house

Sherry asked Aria to talk with her parents

Sherry introduced herself to Aria's parents and also explained them about the Competition

*Later

Aria bid Sherry out

*Entered her room

Laid on her bed ,

" It's tomorrow or never " said Aria to herself

*Switches light off
